                               (Lucifers pov)

"So the angels are all handled?" Lute asks, adam walking up from behind and hugging her.
"All 50."
I look at Al, who's been quiet.

I think it hurt him when we were waiting for ozzie to wake up and I wouldn't let him touch me.
I just- I needed to know he was okay.
I'd never forgive myself if he wasn't.
Once Lilith is taken care of I will make it up to him.
"So, what's the plan? Lucifer is the only one strong enough to take her on by himself, but if we all fight her we'll be overpowered." Lute says.
"She could start singing and hypnotize all of you though. Only Al and I are safe."

Al sits down.
"I have one but it's extremely dangerous."
Silence.
"I'll go in, start a scene, get her out of the hotel. She hasn't stepped foot out since she got there right? She's not going too. She knows it means to much to us. So let me go in and lead her out." Al explains.
"What-? No!"
He takes my hand.
"You have to trust me. I trust you."
"I do trust you, but I can't let you do that!"
Adam sits down across from us, lute following.
"Babe, you gotta just go with this, Al wouldn't steer you wrong." Adam says.

It's not a matter of steering me wrong!
Adam almost killed him!! What happens when Lilith gets her hands on him??? She could actually kill him!

"Stop that. I know what's going through your head right now."
I look at him, shaking my head.
"You can't.."
"I can. I will. And I am. You will be right by my side the moment she's outside but I need to do it. She can't control me. And her ego will get the best of her when I test her. But with you she knows she can't win."
"Why can't I just go in there and stab her!"
"By now she knows her armys gone and you're not under her control. It's not gonna end well."

I hug him.
"You have to promise me you won't get cocky and you'll get in and get her out and nothing showy."
"Me? Cocky?" He asks.
"Yes. You. Promise me.!"
"Okay, okay, I promise you my love I won't let my ego get the best of me."
"Okay..I'm in."
"I'm in, let's kill this bitch!" Adam says.
"Hell yeah." Lute adds.
"Eugh.."
I hate blood..
"Tomorrow then?" Al asks.
Everyone nods.

I hold Azzie and sebastian close, the both of them fast asleep.
I can't sleep..not until she's gone..

"Lu."
"Hm.."
"I can't sleep."
"I can't either."
I look back at him.
He's already looking at me.
"Balcony?"
I nod, shifting to a snake and slipping out from under the kids.
We walk out to the balcony and sit down on the floor.
My head resting against his shoulder.
"I love you." He whispers.
"I love you too.."
He pulls me close.
"Don't let your thoughts get to you. Everything will be alright, okay?"
I nod.
"I just can't get it out of my head. What if it doesnt go alright. I don't want to lose you.."

I look at him, I don't know why that helped.
He just told me if he does die to move on, like hell I will.
I'm not able to just pretend I didn't lose the Love of my existence.

He holds me close, and as the silence of the night surrounds us I feel myself relaxing.
It's been nothing but stress lately but being right here with him right now feels so amazing..

"And I won't forget it." He says, rubbing my back gently. "We'll get rid of her and I will continue to love you with all my heart."
