I sit back down at my desk, Lucifer just went off to ozzies, and I need to finish this paperwork and begin tomorrows since we will be out for a while.

I sign some stuff, getting it out of the way.
I'm not sure what to expect tomorrow.
Hopefully their around charlies age was when Lu went to earth.
I can handle them at that age.
But younger? Scary.
This next step is already scary.
I'm excited and want to do this, but I am scared.

"Baby! Grab my phone for me!" Lu yells from the other room,
I walk to his night stand "you don't need to have this thing always on y-"
As I grab it the screen lights up,
One of our pictures zoomed in to only show me..
I feel my face heat up.
Clearing my throat before I take it to him in the living room.
"What took you so long? You okay?" He asks, taking his phone from my hand.
"Yeah I'm okay, you ready?"
He nods, his smile growing.
"Well then, what are we waiting for,"

We walk into the old building, a woman greeting us.
"Hello! How can I help you this fine evening?" She smiles at us holding out her hand.
I shake her hand, "we're here to adopt,"
"Okay! Any preferences, age, gender, species,"
"Nope," Lu answers.
She nods. "In that case I'll show you to the yard where they're all playing and let you roam,"
She turns, directing us.
Lu takes my hand and we follow her,
"They're all playing here, please don't give them snacks and such, we've got some little ones with allergies."
She walks off, yes she left a sadistic overlord and the literal devil in an enclosed space with children.
Dumb bitch.
Gonna have to have one of my souls work here to keep these kids from being murdered. Jeez.

Lu takes a look around, taking notice of a little girl sitting in the corner.
Shes alone with a stack of paper and some crayons.
All the other kids are playing kickball.
He looks at me, and I can tell exactly what he's thinking.
I take his hand and we walk over to the girl, she's about six or seven, light skin with bright blonde hair, she almost looks just like lu.

"Hey.." Lu calmly says, crouching down beside her.
I sit down with them, the young girl looking up at me, kind of backing up a bit.
I smile warmly, I know my presence can be frightening and usually i enjoy that. But she doesn't need to be scared.
"Hello.." she mumbles.
Lu gives her a light smile,
"I'm...Lu. And this is al," he says, the little girl sets her crayon down.
"I'm azarae. But everyone calls me azzie."

"That's pretty," Lu brushes her hair back from her face.
"You're very good with those crayons." I add, looking down at her paper.
Its quite unique.
"Thank you.. I drew it for the king. Mrs. Moori said we can write him notes and she'll send them out!"
Lu looks at it, "well done, I love it."
She tilts her head.
"Oh, Lu is short for Lucifer." He chuckles as her little eyes light up.
"Youre the king??"
"Yeah, that's right,"
"Why are you adopting someone? I thought you had a daughter?"
"I do, but she's grown up,"
"Ohh!"
A younger boy runs over, jumping onto her, he's an imp, with white patches of skin covering him.
Azzie laughs as he sits back.
He signs something in asl.
Azzie signing back.
The little boy looks at Lu, signing to him,
"I uh, don't know asl,"
"Its okay, i'll inter-pet." Azzie says,
The little signs.
"I'm sebastian"
"Its lovely to meet you, sebastian," Lu smiles.
The little boy looks at me,
"Are you the radio demon?!"
I nod, i dont plan on keep that from the children, it's not something i'm ashamed of, nor should they be afraid.
"So that makes you..Lucifer?"
Lu tilts his head,
"I read about you guys in the paper,"
"How old are you?"
"I'm five!"
"And you can read already?" Lu asks.

Lu looks at me, we planned for one child, but it's looking like he's gotten attached to them both.
I nod at him,
It's whatever he wants.
Sebatian signs something.
"Are you guys here to visit? For like charity?"
Azzie signs as she answers him.
"No they're adopting,"
Sebastian looks at us, "you can't take her away,"
Lu chuckles a bit.
"We won't split you up, promise."
"Sebby they are calling you back to the game" azzie says, signing to him.
He looks over and rushes back to the kids playing.
"Why aren't you playing kickball?"
She shrugs, looking down.
I scoot closer and she looks up at me, the sadness evident in her blue eyes.
"They told me failed angels shouldn't be allowed to play kickball."
"Failed angels?"
"My mommy was an angel. But she was kicked from heaven before she had me..and she left me here. When I was a baby."
Lu offers her a hug, one she takes.
"You aren't a failed angel, you were never given a chance." He says to her.
"Tell them that."
"No, theres no need, you won't be stuck here much longer,"
"What about sebby..?" She mumbles "no one wants a fallen angel and deaf imp."
I look at her.
"I do." I say.
"Me too." Lu adds.
