I lay in bed. This empty cold bed. He should be here. Charlie said we shouldn't do anything. Anthonys visiting valentino tomorrow. With escorts of course. Husk and I. We're gonna try to find out where vox went. Velvette said on her podcast that vox was not in the office. He was going to be out for awhile. Which means he is mot in the vees tower. He could be anywhere in the seven rings of hell. Lu..could be anywhere in the seven rings of hell. Fuck.
Tears brim in my eyes, and I turn in bed to where he should be. Where he'd be if I wasn't so damn stupid..fuck my life..I'm so stupid..

              "Lu...come home..." I mumble.
I feel my watery eyes get heavy and close them.

"You ready?" Husk asks.
"Yeah..first time seeing val since..fuck..no I can't.." anthony spirals.
            "Babe you have to. Think of the king.."
"It's okay if you're scared. Thats why we're coming with." I add.
Husk hugs him.
Im not sure when they became a thing. I guess I was to caught up in finding lu.
"I..I got this. Let's go. We gotta find him."

         We walk into the vee tower. Instantly greeted by a staff member.
"HI WELCOME! HOW MAY-"
"Ah ah ah. Danni wheres val." angel says.

"He's not accepting visitors."
"Didn't ask that danni."
I glare at the much shorter man. He might even be shorter than Lu. Not by much though.
"..penthouse.." danni mumbles.
"Thanks doll." Anthony says, walking us the the elevator.
Anthony hasn't been wearing the showy clothes he used to. Lately it's been light blue flared jeans. And long sleeved crop tops. Mostly light pink. He still looks nice, much more appropriate. And he's cut the flirty act. Overall he's much happier.
"What do we do when we get up there?" Husk asks.
"If vals in his office I want you both to stay out of sight unless I need it. He'll be more open to talk without violence that way."
I look at husk, and he looks at me. We silently agree.
It's whats best for Lu.
The elevator doors open and we walk in, vals not in sight, so anthony heads towards his office door, me and husk stand outside of it once he's inside.
"Angel? Baby what are you doing back~?"
"It's anthony. An' I got a favor." He says.
"A favor? Why would I owe you a favor?"
"You owe me more than a favor. Personally have multiple overlords ready to bust in and slit your throat. Least you can do is help me since I'm stopping that." He explains.
Me and husk listen in. He's right. Husk is a former overlord and ready to kick valentinos ass. Rosies in on it. And I told him I'd kill him if he wanted. Lu said I wasn't allowed. But I'll gladly slit his throat.
"Angelcakes~ we both know I get what I want. Why are you here?"
"Vox took the king."

"What?" Val responds.
"He took the king and I'm here because he must be using some sort of angelic voodoo bullshit because the much stronger king hasn't returned in 2 weeks. Everyones freaking the fuck out and charlie and alastor are a wreck. Al's been a bit more violent about it..but we need him back."

"Vox said he was in the greed ring on business."

"So he lied to you too?" Anthony asks.

"I guess so. I have no information on this angelcakes."
Husk opens the door, "aint no way you know nothing."
I follow him in.
"Wha- our security is shit." Val mutters.
"You have no info?" I ask.
"Im afraid not. Vox stated over text," he pulls out his phone and opens the message. "Won't be home for awhile. On business in the greed ring. Kinda came up unexpectedly...ohhhh."
Anthony looks at husk, giving him a -yea this guys fuckin stupid- look.
"What's he thinking running off with the king. Dumbest shit ever." Val mutters looking at his phone. "I don't know what I can do to help."
"Phone." Anthony demands, holding hand out.
Val hands him the phone and looks at me and then husk. Confused.
"What are you thinking babe?" Husk asks.
"Ask him as val if he can come visit. All we need is directions."
"Why would he tell me if he lied in the beginning?" Val asked.
"Worth a shot."
The text reads: amorcito..I miss you. Where are you staying I'll come visit.

"Wait are they fuckin?" Husk asks, val glares at him and I chuckle.
"Theyre in an open marriage. By open I mean val fucks his employees and vox doesn't say shit."
Val then glares at anthony.
"Angel-"
"Anthony." Husk corrects.
"Anthony. We aren't married."
"Velvette said you were." Anthony says.
"We aren't. The fucker would rather day dream about this fuck ass bob deer here than have an actual relationship with me."
What? Ew.
Vals phone buzzes and angel looks at it.
"I'm too busy. No."
"Fuck." Husk mutters.
"Give me it." Val says.
He takes his phone back and calls vox.
"What." Vox asks from the other side.
"Amorcito~ you're never to busy..just give me the address.. I'll only stay a night~"

"Fine. I'll text you."
"Thank you~"
"Whatever."
Beep.
"There." He sets the phone down.
Fuck..this was too easy. What if he's already dead? Or is vox really just that stupid?
