I watch him pace,
"Let's make a list! Exterminators killing my people! Vox is missing! We have to work on the redemption project and the middle ground project!"
"Honey, you're spiraling.."
"We're screwed!"
I grab his arm and pull him into mine, holding him there.
"Breathe."
He hugs me, taking some shaky breathes.
"I dont want to think anymore.." he cries.
"I'm sorry love."
He sobs into my chest, I know how difficult this must be.
The trauma revolving around him is there to mock him now. And it's partially my fault.
I should've killed vox.
Scumbag.
"Honey.."
I pick him up, holding him as his head rests on my shoulders.
"We'll get through this."
"Papa.."
We both look at the door, Azzie standing in the doorway half asleep.
I sigh, setting Lu on our bed.
"Come here sweetheart."
I pick Azzie up, walking down the hall with her.
"Whats wrong with papa..?"
"It's nothing dear, you should be asleep."
"I'm sorry.." she mumbles.
I walk into her room, sebastian not in his bed either.
"Wheres your brother?"
"I don't know.."
God damn it.
I tuck her back into bed, "good night. For good this time, alright?"
"Goodnight daddy.."
I turn and walk theough the apartment, checking for sebastian.
Fuck.
I have to get back to Lu, this is not the time.
Walking down the stairs to the kitchen I find vanny, eating ice cream from the carton.
"We have bowls for a reason vanessa."
She rolls her eyes.
"Don't have the time. Have you seen sebastian?"
"Nope."
I head through the hall, I think I know where he is.
