Natasha's pov:
I groan as soon as I hear the alarm clock wake me up. I've been dreading going back to school ever since the trip to Italy ended a few days ago. With all the school shopping, book buying and uniform trying, all I wanted to do was face plant into my bed and never leave the land of dreams.
Unfortunately, I was snapped back into reality.
I roll out of bed and make it to perfection, not a crinkle in sight. I slide on my slippers and step into my bathroom, taking a brisk cooling shower to wake me up. I throw on a towel, brush my teeth and begin my skincare. I've actually accumulated a collection of different skin care that works wonders for my skin.
It has never been healthier.
I apply a touch of concealer under my eyes and once coat of mascara on my eyelashes. After my makeup is done, I put on my uniform and pack my bag. Who knew that senior year needed so many books? Although I'm a grade above everyone, school has still been easy.
Homework is a breeze and classwork is nothing new.
I drag my bag down the stairs, hearing it thump every time I go down a step. I chuck it in Xander's car and make my way towards breakfast. All of my brothers are there waiting for me to be seated. Adrien comes up to me and gently places a kiss on my forehead. "Morning Sunshine." He begins to serve waffles and strawberries.
Replicating Rufus Humphrey from Gossip Girl in the process.
"You excited for football to start again?" I playfully nudge Xavier who is sitting on the stool next to me. "Oh hell yeah. I'm sure Xander is gonna aim for striker again, ain't that right." Xavier tilts his glass towards Xander. "You know it." He winks and gulps down his orange juice.
"Are you gonna try out for anything irmãzinha?" Chase asks as he places his plate in the sink.
"The track auditions are today, the tryouts are during break." I place my fork on the empty ceramic dish. "You're going to do great Princess." Vincent kisses my head. "If I don't make it through it's fine." I hop off the stool. "You will make it Amor, have faith in yourself." Leo ruffles my hair.
"We didn't do all that training in the gym together for nothing ay?" Chase leans against the counter.
"You guys are right. I need to believe in myself." I put my plate in the sink. "Now you're getting it." Vincent twirls me around. "You kids should get into the car or you'll be late for your first day of senior year." Adrien gestures towards the garage. "On it ranger." Xander salutes and brings me along to his car.
Xavier gets in too and by the time I know it, we're already off.
"You're going to do amazing Tash, don't stress about it." Xavier notices my knee bouncing in anticipation. "What if I flop? I know I'm better at long distance but what if they're only looking for sprinters? What if I fall during the relay? What if they're all better than me?" I overthink.
"You're the best female athlete I know, you got this." Xander assures me and pulls up into the school's parking lot.
As we pull up, I already spot a familiar white Porsche 911 GT3. "The first class is in the P.E hall for assembly and locker reassignments." Xavier mentions as we walk up the stairs. It's been a whole two months since the last time I walked on these steps. A lot has changed.
