Natasha's pov:

I hear the doorbell ring downstairs and immediately hop off my bed to open the door. "Took you long enough." Seb steps inside with Flynn following behind him. I feel the hot stares from my brothers on our backs but I decide against looking. I can't give into curiosity, not today. "Let's get upstairs. We have a lot of work to do." I remind them as we ascend up the stairs.

"I still get jealous over the size of your double bed." Flynn face-plants into my mattress.

"It's been a year and it still feels the same." I point out, ignoring the fact that not everything in this house feels the same. I shake off the negativity to focus on the present. "We need to start." I reinstate and whip out my laptop. Seb unpacks his school bag, revealing his and Flynn's computer plus a bodacious binder.

"Did they hit anymore warehouses?" I lean against my chair as Flynn and Seb rest against my pillows.

After a few clicks, Flynn speaks up. "They hit Camden's secret bunker and Blackpool's storage container." He informs us. "For Christ's sake." Seb curses as the Brazilians had hit our unit full of cash. "Should I order to transport our remaining funds in the west to central London?" He inquires.

"If we do that then if they bomb London then we'll have lost all our funds." Seb adds on, leaving me with the tough decision.

"Send it to Sutton, we should store it somewhere discreet. We can't let almost 50 billion pounds go down the drain." I give Flynn the green light. "I swear to god Nat." Seb warns me. "Don't worry, they wont think to look there in a million years." I assure him. "Really? Like you were sure that they wouldn't abandon you again." Seb suddenly remarks.

"They haven't abandoned me." I defend my brothers.

"Not yet." Flynn adds on. "You too?" My eyebrows crinkle at his words. I turn around in my chair to face them. "It's no secret that they've been treating you like shit. Everyone in school has been talking about it." Seb hands me the harsh reality on a silver platter. "Have yous been talking about it?" I look them in the eye.

"We've been asked about it hundreds of times but haven't said anything." Flynn types away on his laptop.

"Thanks." I utter a useless reply. "I'm positive they'll turn around, they have to." I remind my best-friends. Seb shuts his laptop and gets my attention. "That's exactly what you said 10 years ago, the day you arrived here. Once you realised they weren't going to call, your hope died along with your trust." He refreshes my memory.

Flashback:

"There's no use." Flynn places a hand on my back after the tenth miss call of the day. "They'll pick up, they have to!" I protest and cling onto Seb's house phone in his room. It had just been Seb's birthday a few days ago and we were up playing with his new toys when it hit 5pm.

As I was still getting used to GMT, I automatically knew that it was lunch time for my brothers.

Flynn understands my weary look and instantly grabs the device from Seb's nightstand. "Don't get your hopes up." He reminds me fully knowing that they won't pick up. I ignore his sentence and dial the numbers that Vincent forced me to memorise. He said that if I was ever in danger, that he was a phone call away.

After the constant ringing continued I sighed and handed him back the phone.

"It's been over a month Tash, you need to let them go." Seb hands me a plastic dinosaur instead. "But how could they forget about me that fast?" I bite my upper lip. "I don't know that but what I do know is that dino-battles solve everything." Flynn leaps down from Seb's bed and grabs a Stegosaurus from the play box.
