"Why do you make these paper flowers?" He asked, looking at her through the mirror.
"They don't wither like the real ones." She replied, aligning the entire bunch of paper flowers.
"But they don't have the fragranc...

"Hey!" Agastya said enthusiastically as soon as Megha opened the door.
"Hi!" Megha's response was bland. The energy and colour of Agastya's face dulled as he realised he had upset his wife.
He kept all of his bags aside and followed her to the kitchen.
"Hey, Sid!" On his way, he greeted his younger brother. Siddhant simply nodded.
"I seem to upset everyone." Agastya whispered to himself.
It was just two years to their marriage, yet he had adopted all her habits.
"Hey!" Leaning to the kitchen counter, he greeted his wife again.
"You don't want to freshen up?" She asked, kneading the dough, without looking up at him. He shook his head.
"Listen, if you are angry," she shot a look at him, "which you have all right to be! But in my defence, I thought of calling you. In fact, I even tried but there was no network." He said making those puppy eyes.
"Yeah, okay." She simply said.
"So, the apology is accepted?" He took a step in her direction with his arms wide spread. She moved to the other side of the kitchen to get something.
"You don't need to apologise for doing your duty. I understand." She spoke.
"So, you are not angry that I couldn't call you for a whole month?" He asked again.
"Not at all." She said, without looking at him.
"And we are okay?"
"Yes."
"Then why are you behaving so cold?"
"Am I?" She took a pause. "That must be the exhaustion talking. I had a long day." Clearing her throat, she added, "You need to go and get changed. Dinner would be ready by then. You must be hungry, no?"
"Yeah, okay!"
Like a defeated soldier, he slowly, dramatically walked out of the kitchen.
"Hey, Sid, something happened with Megha or what? Why is she behaving like this?" He sat beside Siddhant on the sofa.
"Nope! She was fine when she came back from work." Siddhant shrugged while changing the channel.
"Did she tell you that she was upset because I couldn't call?"
"You didn't call her? Not even once? For a month?"
Agastya gestured to him to lower his voice.
"I really tried. But it was so difficult. I could hardly get any network."
"Did she fight?" Siddhant sighed.
"That's what the problem is. She is not even fighting."
"Then you are fine. Bhabhi doesn't hold back from saying what she wants. She must be genuinely tired. You are overthinking this."
