It had now been three weeks since the Amortentia incident with Malfoy. The time had passed rather quickly. Elwia was now 100 percent sure that there had definitely been something wrong with the Amortentia. Her and Malfoy were constantly fighting over everything, they couldn't see eye to eye at all. Even the rest of the group were getting tired of it. Obviously, there was no way Malfoy would fancy Elwia and vice versa.

Elwia had also been very busy with school work and making new friends. Elwia had started befriending Harry, Ron, Hermione, and the twins better. She didn't have to be anxious about being alone for even a second; she always had a friend to keep her company. Elwia didn't like being alone.

She had also befriended Ginny and Luna. Elwia suspected that Ginny was the person Harry had smelled in the Amortentia, because Elwia had noticed that Ginny's favourite treat was treacle tarts; she also smelled of daisies and wood. That's what Harry had described when he smelled the Amortentia.

It was Friday, October 4th, and also the last few minutes of DADA class. Professor Lupin was by far Elwia's favourite teacher that she had ever had, even better than the ones in Beauxbatons. He was a bit odd, but Elwia didn't mind it. She was odd too.

This one time in class a week ago, Professor Lupin had asked if he could borrow Elwia's copy of The Bell Jar book. He said something about also wanting to know who this L.E. person was. He had asked it so carefully and gently, that it had been impossible to say no to him. Elwia obviously gave the book to him; it seemed important to him, and what reason would there be to not give it to him?

"Rest of the class, you can go, but Ms. Delacour, can you stay behind?" Professor Lupin asked and stood up behind his desk. Elwia nodded and waved goodbye to the rest of the group. Professor Lupin walked up to her and sat down on the desk beside her.

"I wanted to thank you for lending me this book; it really means a lot to me. I really enjoyed reading the annotations; L.E. seems amazing." Professor Lupin said quietly, but didn't look at Elwia. Instead, he looked at the very first page of the book. He grazed his finger over the words A Christmas Gift from R. 24.12.1976.

"I've waited years to read this book, I didn't actually think I would ever get to." He said with a small laugh.

"Did you like the book?" Elwia asked.

"Oh, yes. I can see why it was her favourite." Professor Lupin answered.

Elwia frowned her brows and her mouth opened a little.

"Uhm, was?" she coughed.

"Eden," Professor Lupin stuttered.

"Elwia." The girl corrected, feeling a bit offended that Lupin had forgotten her name.

"Oh, yes, I'm sorry." Professor Lupin smiled gently.

"What is it?" Elwia asked, scratching her leg.

"Elwia... This book belonged to Lily Evans, who later married James Potter. James is the initial J in the annotations." Lupin explained slowly.

"Wait... Harry's parents?" Elwia asked, her face dropping.

Professor Lupin nodded, and Elwia could swear he looked like he was about to break down. A tear from his eye fell on the opening page of the book.

"Harry's parents... They're dead." She mumbled and her lips started to tremble a bit. Professor Lupin didn't say anything but his eyes told everything.

"Wait, are you R.? You gave this book to Lily." Elwia realised and looked at the kind man in front of her.

"Yes, I did." Professor Lupin smiled.

"Why do I have this book? It should belong to Harry." Elwia asked, feeling guilty that she had been keeping Lily 's belongings away from Harry.

"I'm not sure, I'll have to look into it." Lupin said.

"Did Lily and James become aurors, like Lily said they would?" Elwia whispered, not really knowing how to feel at that very moment.

"They were, for a while. But then the wizarding war came, and they had to go hiding. They were active members of the Order of the Phoenix. The Order fought against the Dark Lord and death eaters. Lily and James were dear friends of mine and not a day goes by where I don't think about them. Lily was so kind, she never feared me. She was the epitome of a pure heart. And James, oh, how I miss him. I see him in Harry everyday, it almost feels like he never left." Lupin said nostalgically and looked at Elwia with eyes full of kindness.

"The initial S has also been mentioned a few times, I wonder if it's about Sirius Black, Harry's godfather. Do you know him?" Elwia asked.

Professor Lupin sighed.

"Yes, I know him." He said, a small smile pursing on his lips.

Elwia nodded and the two stayed quiet for a few minutes.

"Thank you for telling me; I've always felt close with L.E. or Lily now. I think I'm going to give this book to Harry, though." Elwia smiled, taking a deep breath in and out as she stood up from her seat.

"I'm sure Lily would have liked that." Lupin patted Elwia's shoulder.

"I need to go to my next class now. See you on Tuesday, Professor Lupin." Elwia said with a kind tone and left the classroom.

Elwia could see that in his eyes there was something else that he wanted to tell, but this was already too much for Elwia to handle at once. She had to tell Harry as soon as possible. Elwia wanted Harry to read the book and feel closer to his mother, whom he never got to properly meet.
