Yet another nightmare. When was this going to end? The haunting images of Peter Pettigrew and Voldemort had tainted Elwia's mind, not giving any peace of mind to the girl. She knew there was no way to change the past, and that's exactly what she had nightmares of. Dreams of Elwia enjoying a life with Harry and her parents; dreams of them making snowmen and gingerbreads; and walking around Godric's Hollow during Christmas. She was dreaming of things that she could never experience.

"Wake up, Elwia! It's Christmas."

The raven-haired girl woke up to the sound of her brother banging on her door. What time was it?

"Bloody hell, Harry. It's only 9:30!" Elwia shouted and put the covers over her head.

"I don't care, and besides, everyone else is already awake. Me and Ron woke everyone up!" Harry laughed and peeked his head out the door. Elwia sighed loudly and pulled the covers aside.

Elwia was wearing her long green silk pyjamas, and her hair was in a long braid, which had gotten really long; it was already past her chest.

"Okay, I'm coming." Elwia mumbled while putting on her morning slippers.

"About time. You're the last person to wake up." Harry joked and opened the door wider.

"So are we going to immediately open the gifts or what?" Elwia smiled while rubbing her sleepy eyes and still yawning.

"I'm not sure yet. Me and Ron didn't actually think further than that." Harry admitted with a laugh, putting his hands in the pockets of his jeans.

"Why am I not surprised? And why're you wearing jeans? I thought everyone wore pyjamas when it's Christmas." Elwia rolled her eyes with a small smirk pursing on her lips.

"I just wanted to dress a bit fancy." Harry boasted and raised his chin higher.

"Fancy? Sure, yeah." Elwia laughed, since the only place Harry's clothes would be considered even somewhat fancy was a pool party.

"I think I'm still dreaming, I feel so tired. Is this real?" Irie sighed from the living room, having obvious troubles keeping her eyes open.

"This is real. Good morning, Irie." Elwia chuckled and sat beside Irie on the sofa.

"Okay, Ron. Can you stand up with me? I think we need to make a speech." Harry asked and pulled Ron by his side. From the look on Ron's face, Elwia felt suspicious that this had most definitely been only Harry's idea. Ron looked like he was still half asleep. Sirius and Uncle Moony looked amused as to what was happening, and Fred and George on the other case had fallen asleep on the floor.

"They woke me up at 8:30." Hermione whispered to Elwia, closing the book that was in her lap.

"I guess I was the lucky one. I woke up just 5 minutes ago." Elwia laughed softly.

"Well, I just wanted to thank you all for coming here. You all mean a great deal to me, all of you are family to me. I am happy to spend Christmas with you. And also, I am happy that this Christmas, Arthur is not in bad condition." Harry toasted with a big smile, earning a small laughter from everyone.

"Oh, what happened to Mr. Weasley?" Elwia asked.

"He was attacked by Nagini, Voldemort's snake." Remus sighed and patted Arthur's shoulder.

"Okay, well, I think we should open the gifts now. I'll start, um, I'll take this one here. It says it's for Elwia, here." Harry smiled as he handed his sister the gift.

"Woah, thank you." Elwia giggled and looked at the gift with a wide smile. It had been wrapped almost perfectly, in red and gold wrapping paper. "It says it's from Hermione. Thank you, Mione."
