Today Harry and the others were finally coming back from Hogwarts, approximately in half an hour. Elwia was excited to finally have some company; no offence to Kreacher. He was very pleasant company, but the girl was in real need of some humans. Elwia also needed to hear the whole truth from Dumbledore and see Harry's reaction to the news.
And, well, seeing that she had some crucial information about Voldemort and couldn't tell anyone about it for two days was rather annoying. She hadn't seen Uncle Moony or Sirius after the day she came to Grimmauld Place. The Order business had taken them really long.
Elwia missed Astoria and Pansy. She hoped they didn't think that she had left them on purpose without saying goodbye. Elwia also missed laughing with Theo, Blaise, and Adrian in the common room and during classes, but sadly she had already gotten used to it that she couldn't associate with them that much anymore. Elwia didn't want to endanger her friends.
Draco Malfoy. How did Elwia feel about him? She didn't know, but there was something she felt for him, and it wasn't hatred anymore. But they couldn't be friends. A Potter and a Death Eater? No way. So much had changed during the last month. When the school year started, it was merely childish fighting and stupid prejudices between the two, but it was all different now. Since December, both Elwia and Draco had started acting more mature, and instead of focusing on each other, they both had their own problems that mattered more. Everything was different.
"They have arrived, Mistress Elwia." Kreacher informed, while standing on Elwia's doorstep.
Elwia nodded and quickly brushed her hair before leaving the room and walking down the stairs to meet her friends. Seeing the familiar faces of Harry, Uncle Moony, Hermione, Fred, Irie, Ron, George, Ginny, and Sirius made Elwia smile. Mr and Mrs Weasley were waving their hands and introducing themselves to Elwia.
"Where's mum and Fleur? And that boyfriend of hers?" Elwia asked.
"They are coming soon." Uncle Moony answered and opened his arms for a hug. Elwia smiled and hugged him. There was something so familiar and good about being wrapped in his arms; the girl felt safe.
"Where's my hug?" Hermione laughed.
"Oh, you'll get one too, for sure." Elwia smirked.
After hugging everyone individually, Elwia heard the door open again and saw the faces of her beautiful mother and sister, as well as a tall ginger man, Bill.
"Elwia, you've gotten even more beautiful since the last time I saw you. It seems like you have the same beauty genes as me and mother." Fleur giggled and wrapped Elwia in an embrace.
"Thank you, sister. You look gorgeous." Elwia answered, although she couldn't help but feel a bit sad. Fleur didn't know they weren't actually related. Would she still think of Elwia as her baby sister?
"Hello, my sweet girl." Apolline spoke carefully and rested her hand against Elwia's cheek. Apolline's eyes were soft yet sad; a mother always knew when her baby wasn't doing okay. Elwia allowed herself to show a small smile; she didn't want to cause a scene since the others didn't know yet.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Bill Weasley. You must be Elwia." The tall ginger said and shook Elwia's hand.
"Yes, good to finally meet you. I'm quite well acquainted with your brothers. I hope for the sake of my sister, that you're different." Elwia laughed.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Ron, Fred, and George shouted in unison.
Everyone started laughing.
Kreacher had prepared french onion soup for the family, and the food looked great. Kreacher's specialty was french onion soup, and it was indeed very good. Only bad thing was that Elwia had been eating it for four days in a row now and had grown tired of it. Elwia noticed that the house elf seemed to be in a much more negative mood now that there were so-called 'blood traitors' and muggle borns in the house.
