Elwia was walking up the stairs when Harry stopped her in her tracks.
"Can we talk?" he asked.
"Sure." Elwia answered with a small smile.
"Are you okay with me starting to think of you as my sister? Well, you know. I know you already have a sibling and a family; I understand if you don't need a new one." Harry mumbled, looking down.
"Harry, of course you can think of me as your sister, since that's what I am. I've known the secret only for a few days, but I've already become accustomed to the idea of you being my brother. Especially now that I've seen Lily's memories. We are twins; we are one." Elwia said reassuringly, taking Harry's hand in hers.
"I don't understand how you're taking this so well. Your whole life has been a lie, and Voldemort is after you; are you not scared?" Harry asked, looking relieved and confused at the same time.
"Don't get me wrong, I am happy that I am a Potter. I could've been something so much worse. But if I told you I wasn't scared, it would be a lie. I am scared of Voldemort, and I am scared of losing you. I am scared of how all of this will end, but knowing I got you, Hermione, Ron, Uncle Moony, Sirius, my mother, Fleur, and so many more people, I know everything will be okay, or at least I want to believe so." Elwia answered, deep in thought.
"What about your friends from Slytherin? I mean, I know they hate me, but I've noticed you having a close friendship with them." Harry said with a small laugh.
"Yes, I'm grateful for having them too in my life, especially Astoria and Pansy. Although I haven't been able to be with them lately because of Mattheo Riddle and Voldemort." Elwia scoffed as she said the last two names.
"Oh, why so?" Harry asked, frowning his brows.
"Well, Mattheo warned every one of my Slytherin friends not to associate with me because Voldemort is interested in me for some reason. I don't know if Mattheo knows that I'm a Potter; I doubt it, but he has been keeping an eye on me for the last few weeks. We were actually friends at the beginning of the school year; it kind of sucks that he probably wants me dead now." Elwia shrugged her shoulders.
"And what of Malfoy?" Harry raised his eyebrows and nudged Elwia lightly.
"What do you mean? What about Draco Malfoy?" Elwia asked, surprised.
"Well, he's obviously taken interest in you." Harry said nonchalantly.
"I've literally punched him probably twice, and we hate each other, no way." Elwia laughed and shook her head.
"Perhaps that's good. I wouldn't want my sister to be friends with a bully and a death eater anyway." Harry said, sounding disgusted while thinking of Malfoy.
"Yeah, totally." Elwia mumbled.
"It's going to be hard not to tell Ron, Irie, and Hermione. I'll probably slip up and accidentally say something." Elwia said, changing the subject.
"Me too. I wonder when we're allowed to tell them. It's not like they would spread out the information." Harry shrugged his shoulders.
Elwia and Harry exchanged glances. She raised an eyebrow, and so did he.
"Are you thinking what I am thinking?" Elwia asked, pursing her lips in thought.
"Are you thinking what I am thinking?" Harry asked, emphasising the words 'you' and 'I'.
"Let's tell Ron, Irie, and Hermione." The twins said in unison, nodding their heads, determined.
"They're still not on speaking terms. Hermione rode on a different carriage during the train ride and Ron doesn't even know the reason why." Harry informed, sounding a bit annoyed.
