"Your parents are Lily and James Potter." Dumbledore said.

Elwia's ears started ringing and she felt that sinking feeling in her stomach. She was close to fainting that was for sure.

"You're joking, right? That's not funny." Elwia laughed dryly and glanced at her mother.

"Darling..." Apolline mumbled and caressed Elwia's cheek. Apolline's face was sad, and her hand was resting on her heart.

"N-no, but me and Harry have different birthdays. How would that work? I'm so confused, Harry can't be my... brother. No, is that why Voldemort wants to kill me? Am I also the Chosen One?" Elwia stuttered, close to a panic attack.

"Elwia, we'll explain things better on Christmas. Harry doesn't know yet, and it would be best if you both were present when we told the whole story." Lupin said assuringly, walking a bit closer to the girl.

Elwia looked at the people around her, tears starting to swell in her eyes. She couldn't believe that this had been the secret everyone had been hiding from her. Harry was her brother and her real parents were dead.

"Am I still your sweet girl?" Elwia whispered and looked at the beautiful woman in front of her, who had raised her for 15 years.

"I am your mother and you will always be my sweet girl. Nothing will change that." Apolline kissed the girl's forehead.

"You can't tell anyone. Especially your Slytherin friends." Dumbledore said with a serious tone. Elwia nodded quietly and looked at Lupin. His eyes looked sad but there was also relief in his face, probably from not having to hide anything from her anymore.

"Um, since I'm not going to be in Hogwarts for the rest of the week, can I say goodbye to my friends while I gather my things from my dorm?" Elwia asked while wiping away her tears.

"No need, for your things are already in Grimmauld Place. Apolline will apparate you there." Dumbledore smiled and once again put a handful of candy in his mouth.

Cunt.

"Okay." Elwia muttered and grabbed her mother's hand.

Elwia saw Lupin and Sirius apparate together, and seconds later, all her surroundings changed.

Grimmauld Place looked old, but it still seemed to be in good condition.

"Uhm, what room am I in?" Elwia asked, glancing at Sirius and Lupin.

"Second floor, first on your right." Lupin said.

"Elwia, my dear. You will be living here for your remaining school years, all your furniture and things were moved from our house to here." Apolline smiled gently.

"Oh, okay." Elwia mumbled.

As Elwia was walking up the stairs, she could hear the adults talking.

"She looks just like them." Sirius' muffled voice said.

On the top of the stairs, there was a house elf. It looked at Elwia cautiously.

"What's your name?" Elwia asked politely.

"Young mistress asks me for my name, odd that one is. Kreacher, they call me." The elf muttered. Elwia had actually never encountered a house elf before, so she didn't really know how to address them.

"Hello Kreacher. I am Elwia Del-" Elwia began saying, but she cut her sentence short.

"Elwia Potter." Elwia corrected herself. Was Elwia now a Potter, or was she still a Delacour? Shit, she didn't even know how to address herself.
