Was it fair to be angry at Ron? Probably not, but there was no way Elwia was going to be cool with someone who had made Hermione heartbroken. Harry was completely oblivious about what had happened and, therefore, didn't pick sides.

The party had been four days ago, and Elwia had mostly been hanging out with Irie and Hermione. Elwia felt like her Slytherin friends were giving her the cold shoulder for going to the party. Elwia kind of understood, but not really. And It's not like Elwia was cheering for Gryffindor; she just wanted to party with her friends instead of listening to everyone complain about losing in the Slytherin common room. She hadn't properly talked to any of her Slytherin friends for four days, and it really made her feel downhearted.

Elwia was now walking towards the common room since classes had ended. It was a boring Tuesday, and she was in a bad mood since none of her friends she shared classes with spoke to her during them. Astoria did say a few things to her, but not as much as usual.

"Elwia! Pansy and Astoria are looking for you. They're in your dorm." Min-Seo said while walking towards Elwia, seemingly coming from the common room.

"Oh, did they tell you what it was about?" Elwia asked, frowning her brows.

Min-Seo shrugged her shoulders and said, "No, but they said it was urgent." Elwia looked at Min-seo, confused. What could possibly be so urgent? Those two had been giving her the cold shoulder for four days.

"Thanks, and also, uh, would you like to study with me for the upcoming Transfiguration exam?" Elwia asked with a smile.

"Yeah, I was about to ask you the same thing. Is it okay if Flora also comes with us?" Min-Seo answered.

"Oh, um, sure. I should probably go now since it was urgent matters with Tori and Pans. See you later." Elwia said quickly and speed walked towards the common room.

Elwia opened the door, and the first thing she saw was Draco Malfoy at the entrance. He looked somewhat relieved upon seeing her, but then he immediately pulled Elwia by the hand outside. Malfoy took a sharp turn to the right. The two were now in a dark corner in the dungeon's hallway, where people most likely couldn't see them.

"What do you want? Shouldn't you be out with Flora?" Elwia asked, feeling annoyed for some reason.

"No, what? I'm sorry, but the reason I wanted to talk to you is because I don't think it's safe for us to talk to each other anymore after this. I think the Dark Lord is interested in you, and if he sees that I am even associated with you, he might try to use you to make me do things I don't want to, and I don't want to see you hurt." Malfoy said so fast, Elwia almost couldn't believe her ears.

Malfoy didn't want to see her hurt?

And, oh, shit. Voldemort was after her?

"Wait, what?"

"The dark lord is interested in you; I don't know why. Perhaps he's mad at me since I haven't been able to finish my task and is now using legilimens on me, and he has seen that I think about you often. Maybe he wants to hurt you to make me finish the task faster; I don't know. The day after we had detention, I got a letter from my father that said, "I don't know about your relations with this girl, but I encourage you to stay away from a girl named Elwia Delacour. The Dark Lord is interested in her and not in a good way, I don't want you near her.."

Draco looked at Elwia, his eyes soft yet full of worry.

"You think about me often?" Elwia repeated.

"Really, Delacour? Out of all the things I just said, and you're asking me about that?" Malfoy rolled his eyes with a small smile pursing on his lips.
