"BUT WHEN YOU CALL ME BABY,

I KNOW I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE."

THE SWEET SOUNDS OF  KATE BUSH FLOWING FROM HER RECORD PLAYER AND THE ACOUSTIC GUITAR ON HER LAP WERE HER ONLY COMPANY. Since getting mad at her boyfriend for suddenly having to work 24/7 without telling her and storming out of Harrington's house for the stunt he pulled, she'd been pretty lonely. Maia had called twice now and Amelia had pretended everything was okay, she didn't want Maia feeling bad for going away.

She paused the player to concentrate, trying to figure the new melody for the song she'd been writing. Ever since her father had left her the old acoustic on her bed, a polaroid of the two of them tucked between the strings, she'd express every emotion into a song. The guitar was one of the only things he'd left once the divorce papers were signed.
