As everyone was battling their individual battles on Earth, Mio and Sam stood face to face on the Moon. Both spirits, thankfully not affected by the vastness of space. It was time to answer for 30 years of going behind their backs.
Mio: "Kaza, why must you do this?"
Sam: "The Knave told me everything thanks to her advanced version of <Zaphkiel>. To 'revive' Kazami and Shinji, you placed the Sephira Crystals in humans so that they could bond with them. Mio narrows her eyes and looks upset. She knew Vajra was a stubborn one, especially when he was Kazami. She sighs with some sadness.
Mio: "I see...so that is your answer...Kaza, it seems...I must recreate you again."
Firefly: "THAT'S NOT GONNA HAPPEN!"
Mio gasps upon hearing Firefly's voice coming from Sam.
Firefly: "You won't take him away...I almost lost him once in the past...Mother, you will not take my best friend away from me!"
Sam blasts off toward Mio with a fiery kick, but she blocks it with her ribbons, and the momentum pushes her back.
