We see the Balladeer, in his previous form as Shido Itsuka, holding a knife to his throat. Tears endlessly fell from his face as he inhaled and slashed the knife across his throat. He falls to the ground, bleeding. He closed his eyes, accepting death and looking to reunite with his loved ones in the afterlife...but instead, he finds himself...in a sea of flowers.
