The pain. Well I couldn't really describe it. The zero moisture in my throat. The rocks smashing in my head. The dull ache behind my eyes. Yeah last night was a big mistake.
I lift my head off the cold wooden table hearing a weird sticky sound. The empty bottle of tequila makes my stomach twist in pain. Nope don't think about it.
I stand up and my back wasn't in a normal sleeping position last night as it cracks. I walk over to the bottle of water and didn't hesitate to gulp the whole thing down. I pant as I ran out of air towards the end of the bottle.
I shove my hair into a messy bun not caring and just wanting it out of my face. "Uhhhhh I feel like utter death" Miles says as he strolls in, water in hand, he plants himself on a chair.
He looks up at me and try's not to laugh. "Don't even test my patients right now. Mistakes were made now shut it" I say as he clearly is laughing at me being a hypocrite yesterday just to do what I said I wasn't going to do.
He holds his stomach and starts to rub it "All I can think of is food" he groans as his belly rumbles but I couldn't think of anything worse than food right now. Daniel is next to stumble in.
And me and Miles look at each other and that led to our outburst. His hair was flattened on one side and his eyes barely open. "If I had the mental capacity to slap the both of you I would" he groans as he shoves Miles over so he can sit
I Chuck him water which he greedily drinks. "Good morning! How's everyone feeling?" Evelyn chims in as she skips into the room. How is she so perky?
Miles and Daniel groan and she smiles as she stares at me. "What the hell happened to you?!" She says shocked and I roll my eyes. It's just karma after karma for me. I give her a sarcastic smile
"Evelyn my mood isn't really one to be played with today" she stifles her laugh but just sits down. I look around the bar and notice Draven wasn't here. Had he not come back?
I feel my face immediately redden as I remember what had happened. I mentally scowled myself. All other times I would get amnesia but the one time I want it I don't get it.
"Are you alright you look like you're going to be sick" Miles asks Daniel and it was like a green flag as he stood up and darted into the back room. I wish I couldn't hear him but sadly I could. Evelyn's face screws up as she tries to ignore it.
"I'll go check on him" Miles gets up and pinches his nose as he goes in. I try to ignore it but the gags are really getting to me. I swallow but it's not helping. That annoying mouth water told me I needed to escape.
"I need some fresh air once he's.....finished grab your stuff and meet me outside" she nods as she can see the aroma in the air is going to cause a chain reaction soon if I don't get out.
I make sure I have my knives as I peer outside and remove the chair from the door. How did this get here? It was a wave of relief when the fresh air hit my nose. The air was chilly but my burning head felt a sense of soothing from it.
I step more out and close the door behind me. "Vera?" I look to my right to see no other than Draven sat on the floor lent up against the building. His lips are slightly tinted blue. His eyes seem as if he's being cautious
"Draven? What the hell are you doing out here!" I rush over to him and his skin is ice cold. He stands up and looks me up and down. I must look like shit right now.
"Really? You're the one who locked me out." Yes he is very annoyed. I try to recall back to locking him out but I can't pin point when I had done that.
