I had my eyes squeezed shut afraid something would crush me but I soon came to realise that I was okay and that nothing bad had happened.

My mind whipped to the thought of Draven. Panic set in as I search around and grabbed onto the nearest fallen cans where I started to wedge them under the shelf. The small dents show of how it barely made any extra room.

I didn't think it would work but it gave me enough space to squeeze out scraping my skin in the process but I was free. I bite my lip at the pain in my legs but rush over to the edge. "Draven?" My voice sounds small as I look over

He's gone. I drop to my knees ignoring the ache. I couldn't bring myself to look down. I didn't want to see what the result was. I was wishing that I could just have pulled him up sooner. My hands tremble as I sit in shock.

"Little help sweetheart." I look over the piled up boxes to see Draven struggling to hold Isaac up and step over the box's he barely avoided.

I move the boxes out the way "You're alive." I said as I See him wince that's when I notice the glass shards poking in his arms. Isaac must have passed out again. Did he save Draven? This is all too much. Both of their injuries are serious.

"Let's go" he cuts me off his face dead straight and set on getting out of here. There's blood dripping from his arms but he doesn't take the time to notice. He carefully climbs over the box's and walks past me.

"Here let me help." I speed up as him carrying Isaac on his back is only injurying him more. I bring my hand to my stomach at the sharp pain when I do finally catch up to him.

I go to touch Isaac when he snaps at me "No. Just clear the way they might still be here." why he would care if they were there or not is beyond me especially since one left him to die.

Maybe he's hurt I couldn't save him. I don't dwell on it as I nod and we go barrelling down the stairs with him almost dropping down the last few steps. I stab a zombie that had wondered out a corner. "What if they're not?" I ask as we approach the door

The horn went off some time ago and I'm sure that guy would've urged them to leave so he didn't get caught. "I will get us back." his short reply was concerning but he wouldn't make it anywhere in his condition let alone with someone who was unconscious.

I put my ear up to the door to listen for anything. They rang the horn so something must've happened unless they got it under control. What was weird is that I couldn't hear anything. "I don't hear anything." just in case I only open the door slightly to peep out.

I peek my eye out and I was right it's all clear. Not a single zombie? I open the door fully and besides the dead ones there's nothing that seems concerning to me? "They're still here." Draven says as he brushes past me

Are they? Because I do not see the vehicle that was parked outside nor any of the other team members. "Did you hit your head because I don't see anyone." I check again but still no one

I hear Isaac groan and that's when Dravens attention goes straight on him. He slowly places him on the floor making sure he doesn't hit his head anymore. "There's fresh tire burns. I'd say they drove off and circled back round they should be around here somewhere unless they were told we were dead but considering how the camp is run I think they'll have to check there's no way we survived in order to keep suspicions off their back since this isn't the first time people have gotten killed within this group" he points to the tire marks where they swerve down the road

I bring my hand to Isaac head with Draven watching me closely. "He's burning up. I thinks it's a concussion but pulling you up didn't help. He'll need to rest and take it easy so I'll go look around see if I can find them. I will bring them to you even if we wait for him to wake up walking around will do him more harm than good." I dab some of the blood away that was starting to get sticky. He looks so pale.
