Draven was gone in a blink of an eye. One minute in front of me the next vanished. "Where were you? You left us to eat with him? Of all people Vera." Miles says with Daniel who's head was laying on his lap

My eyes flicker to that detail before going back to miles. "Was you not hungry?" Miles rolls his eyes and I know that's not what he meant but I'm just trying to see what's happened. Already chaos is coming.

"Yes when am I not but that doesn't answer my question!" He gets frustrated. I fold my arms at his attitude yeah I can see where he's coming from but this is petty.

"I had a very important errand to run which is now sorted I wasn't going to make you wait to eat so I told Draven to take you guys. Why did something happen?" I see Daniel smirk to himself as he looks over to me

"He's just paranoid although your little friend outside seemed to make it seem as if you'd ran off that's why Miles is being in this serious mood" Daniel looks more annoyed that miles is in this mood than me

"No nothing happened he took us to eat and waited for us outside. That guy made me panic he said you escaped! So shoot me for worrying." he aims the last part at Daniel who huffs

"Miles it's your first day here you've both been through a lot I just wanted you to have a relaxing evening. I'm fine I didn't escape nor planned to everything is sorted okay?" He squints his eyes to see if I'm lying but decides that he can stop overthinking

"What are the sleeping arrangements?" Daniel cuts in before Miles could disagree that everything is okay. Well Draven is upstairs where we were sleeping and There's one more room.

"Room upstairs for you two it's the one on the right in case you walk in on Draven. He's not in the best of moods from what I can see." Miles laughs as if it's a obvious thing to see

"So you're telling me he actually feels emotion I would have never have thought" Miles bites and I try not to laugh. Draven holds quite the reputation with how he is.

"Ha ha very funny" I narrow my eyes at Miles who shrugs and starts to run his fingers through Daniels hair. I'm actually intrigued on the story of how they came about.

"Enough talking I was promised a relaxing evening and the night is still young. You coming?" Daniel asks as he heads in the direction of the stairs not stopping for miles who'll definitely follow

"Tomorrow is a new day and that means you and I having a long hard catch up yes?" Miles says walking towards me. He's right he doesn't know the reason why he had to run or how we got here.

"Yes now go get some rest" he hugs me and rushes up the stairs. Yeah he's definitely not getting rest. I pour a glass of water and gulp it down. Now to face the big baby who is acting weird.

I stomp up the stairs and barge open our room door. "Draven is there something bothering you?" I have my finger pointed and soon come to realise I'm talking to myself since he's not in here.

My ears perk up at the sound of running water. Interesting. I creep to the bathroom and put my ear to the door. I can't hear anything but the sound of the shower running. It's late now and dark throughout the house.

Should I? I did mention it earlier. I open the door slowly and the bathroom is really steamy and it's only lit by a torch. His skin must be burning from all this steam clouding up the room.

I see his figure with his arm raised above his head the water pouring down on his figure. I don't think he noticed me. I could leave but I must admit I do not want to. I smile to myself as I start to take off my clothes.
