"You did what." Draven moans at me. As soon as I walked through that door it was a complete shit show. Ash had 'accidentally' spilled our plan to miles and Daniel sometime whilst I was away.

I think Miles knew something was up and pestered Ash until he told him because otherwise I don't see how it could become a topic of conversation.

So I walked in to ash surrounded by the two being asked a million questions until Miles noticed me and before I could head straight back out the door he started attacking me for not telling him and wanted every detail within that immediate second.

Ash was complaining about how he got demoted today due to him fighting with some arsehole. So he doesn't have a lot of control over guard duty which would've given us one big helping hand when getting out of this place.

Why wasn't he more careful especially since he knew that we needed an easy route out of here.

When I thought nothing else could go wrong Draven had seen me with Evelyn outside and I had to tell him something to stop pestering me. Which leaves me in my current predicament of everything spiralling out of control.

I have Ash downstairs trying to figure out how to get up ranked by tonight which is not possible.

I have Miles who's being held back by Daniel instead of suffocating everyone with questions.

Then me upstairs locked in this room with Draven as he stares at me. Harshly might I add. "Don't Ignore me Vera" he pushes

I sigh loudly to show my annoyance. "I already explained to you Draven that she is coming with us. I barely told her anything. Hence this dinner we're going to do so that everyone is on the same page." he rubs his face in stress as he paces up and down the room.

"You do realise what you're risking?" He's furious and he has every reason to be. I may seem calm right now but I'm anything but calm. Walking in to all this chaos and bad news has me stressed and worried. This is the biggest sign that we're doing this all wrong.

"Yes of course I do. It was hard for me to make that decision. I didn't just do it on a whim. She's my sister we've lost enough as it is." I avoid his gaze as he's slowly filling my head with doubts. I need to be able to think clearly so I can make better decisions.

"We are talking about the same person right?" He seems puzzled as he can't believe what is coming out my mouth. I do see why since it was recent that I had shared my despise of her choices. Now I'm risking everything for her. Plus I'm guessing he's still holding a grudge over her almost getting us killed.

"I'm not asking you to be okay with this Draven. Otherwise I would have told you before I told her. I know if it was the other way round you would do the same for Isaac no matter how much you try to deny it. All I'm asking from you Draven is to be on the same page as me. When we both know what's happening everything works better and safer for everyone. I could have lied to you but I didn't. Please just be patient with this." I hold his stare hoping he finally breaks.

"There's only so many times you can be taught a lesson until there's damage that can't be undone." I stand up and he places his hands on my shoulders. The sigh of frustration he lets out shows me he is willing to drop it as we have bigger priorities to deal with.

"I'm sorry I put you in this position just please bare with me. All we need to focus on doing is getting away from here with everyone still breathing. That's all that matters. " he tilts his head but backs down as he takes a seat on the bed.

My body twitches as I hear something smash from downstairs. Followed by yelling. "Seems like patience isn't a thing around here" he smirks as he likes the fact that more people will shortly be yelling at me.
