Nicky Reagan-Boyle's POV
"Hey girls!" Sally the barista greets Dorothea and I as we walk over to the counter.
"Hey Sally, our usual drinks along with a box of chocolate chip cookies." I tell Sally before paying her for our order.
"It's been a long time hasn't it bastard child?" A man greets Dorothea who freezes upon hearing his voice.
"Dorothea do you know him?" Dorothea nods and the man chuckles.
"We had fun together. Didn't we Dorothea? Tell me how is James doing?" The man asks Dorothea and I instantly knew that he was a friend of James'.
"He is dead." Dorothea tells him.
"Yes he is and it's a shame we didn't get to play more." The man tells Dorothea before I grab our order and we headed home.
"Who is he?"
"Jason Clark Battle. He is a sheriff and a serial killer. James would help him kill people and then they would take turns raping my four year old body." Dorothea tells me.
"We have to tell our mothers."
"They will not believe us because he is a decorated officer and war hero." Dorothea tells me as we enter her house.
"Who won't believe you?" Mom asks us with her arms crossed and I look at Dorothea.
"We ran into one of my old abusers, Jason Clark Battle. He and James would kill people before raping me. He is s sheriff and a decorated war hero so nobody would believe me if I said anything." Dorothea tells mom.
"I believe you Dorothea and so will everyone else. And if they don't I'll remind them that you never lie about stuff like this." Mom tells Dorothea who tears up before hugging mom.

Erin's POV
"Does Dorothea have her phone on?" Penelope asks me.
"She does. Why?"
"Because of the software I was able to install on there to automatically record conversations when she says her key phrase "Not my family"." Penelope tells me.
"Were you able to get something off of the recording?"
"She didn't say it so I couldn't get anything. But she'll say it and when she does you'll be the first to know. Well I should say second to know since Emily and JJ are the first ones to know." Penelope tells me.
"Thanks Penelope and tell those women I'm making sure Dorothea has a good birthday dinner."
"Gotcha badass attorney lady." Penelope says before hanging up and I begin to order dinner.
