Emily's POV
"Hey dad!" Dad entered the house and followed me into the kitchen where JJ and Dorothea were making cookies.
"Hey Jennifer. Hi Dot." Dad says, causing Dorothea to look up at him and smile. She runs over to dad and hugs him tight. Dad picked her up and swung her around, causing Dorothea to giggle.
"Grandpa! You are here!" Dorothea says with a smile on her face before kissing his cheek.
"I am here to see my favourite girls." Dad tells Dorothea before putting her down on the ground.
"I am okay Grandpa, just do not like the glasses or my scars. But I am fine." Dorothea tells dad.
"Dorothea, go wash up for lunch." JJ tells Dorothea, who runs out of the room.
"You heard about what happened?" JJ asks dad.
"I did, but I want Dorothea to tell me about it when she's ready." Dad tells JJ.
"We get that dad."
