“Michael is so childish. How did Jenny stay with that idiot?”

“Sister-in-law loves brother’s face.”

Nicholas chuckles.

Amara paused.

She looks at Nicholas who is drinking coffee beside her.

Michael is a handsome guy. Nicholas is the same. Their father Angelo is a handsome middle aged man.

Yet Amara looks like their mother who isn’t particularly beautiful. She is not beautiful but Angelo never remarried after she died early. He also thinks of her almost religiously.

If you ask him, he will say that their mother was the most beautiful girl in his eyes.

‘It’s really a fantasy-like romance.’ Amara felt sad. The setting of Amara’s mother and father is actually based on how she really wanted to be loved when she wrote the story.

She is ashamed to put herself in her story as the main character so she settled in as a villainess mother back story.

‘An ugly girl like me….to be loved by a handsome gentleman.’

She happily picks Angelo’s name and her real name together ,Margie.

Maybe because of that she became the first villainess in the story, because she wrote the first villainess so close to heart.

A romance she would never have had.

A family she doesn’t have.

Nicholas looks at his sister who played with her dessert absent-mindedly with a sad expression.

He wanted to cheer her up but didn't know what appropriate word to say.

“I’m jealous of you and Michael. You have dad’s look.”

“Looks aren't everything.” Nicholas' face darkens. He doesn’t know Amara had this complex. It was not one time that they heard Amara being compared to her siblings.

Nicholas hates it when relatives say mean things in family gatherings.

“But it sure helps a lot.” Amara smiles.

“Since you left work early to join me. Why not watch a movie with me? Oh, do you and Marina have a date?”

“I can go with you.”

Nicholas said, determined.

Amara chuckles.

“Forget it. If you have free time, spend it with your lover.” She rubs his head.

“Oh, I shouldn’t do that anymore.” She blushes. Amara thinks Nicholas is a cute puppy and unconsciously rubs his head but truth be told no adult men would like to be treated like that right?

“I haven’t spent time with you since you got married. I feel like you have hated me since I started working in the company and treated me as if I betrayed you when I became friendly with brother.”

“......” Amara sighs inwardly.

The real Amara is really the most childish among the three.

“Okay. Let’s watch something?”

“Alright!” Nicholas beams.

The two can’t find anything good in the cinema.

“How about this movie?” Nicholas pointed out a romantic comedy.

“Well, good enough.” Amara doesn’t find it weird. They are siblings anyways.

But others see it as them dating.
