After finishing my sparring practice with Xaden, if you can even call it that, I shower before heading to my dorm for the night. I quickly dress into an extra pair of leggings and a long-sleeve before picking up my comb and walking to the window.

I take a deep breath and section off my hair before gently picking the comb through the wet curls. I take a deep breath as I comb through my hair and watch as rain slowly starts to trickle down the window. I pause mid-brushstroke as a rush of energy chases its way down my spine, disappearing just as fast as it came.

I think that it may be Andarna for a moment before I admonish that thought. I run the thought through my head once more but get rid of it completely after the reminder that her power flooded through my whole body. It did no just appear and then disappear.

Another wave rushes through me and I have to drop my comb onto the windowsill. I clutch my hands into fists before quickly shaking them out and gripping a hold of the windowsill. Feeling the energy still coursing through my body, I quickly tuck my chin to my chest letting my half dry hair curtain my face.

The energy continues to stick around as I try to breathe through it. It hums beneath my skin and rings through my ears, overwhelming my very being.

Something in me slowly expands. Something that feels far too large for my body. Something that is way too large to be contained. My nerves overflow with searing pain and I roll my shoulders to try and shed off the feeling but it doesn't seem to want to leave. It's like the power is living and growing inside my nervous system and shaking my very being.

I slide down, letting my knees clash into the floor; ignoring the pain that comes as my knees hit the ground for the pain of the power thrumming through my veins was so much more.

My fingers meet my temples trying to ease the feeling of power trying to break through my skull. I hold my hands there and curl in on myself, bringing my knees to my chest and my head to my knees.
