As I sit in this conference meeting, I can't help but throw my head back in boredom as an insignificant man drones on about economics. My destructive tendencies are itching to play.

And who am I to stop them?

Despite the man being mid-sentence, I stand up from my seat and walk out of the boardroom, earning glares from my brothers as I leave them behind.

To be honest, I'm still not entirely sure why they wanted me there when my role is public relations.

I mean, yes I may cause the most public relations problems in the business, but no one can charm their way out of a paper bag like I can.

I smile to all the employees I pass, making small talk with a few until I reach my office. I close the door behind me and sit on my grey fabric sofa, pulling out my phone to check my messages from associates.

No later than 15 minutes, Elijah comes strolling in, his face etched with boredom, and sits next to me in my office. We scroll through our phones in a mutual silence, waiting for our final brother to arrive.

Late as always, Callum finally walks in and sits in one of the matching armchairs facing the sofa, with a glass coffee table separating the furniture.

"You can't just walk out of meetings, Zach," Callum chastises me, glaring. I glare back, squinting my eyes playfully. He rolls his eyes, making me smirk.

Ha, I won.

"I didn't even know what he was saying... he was just droning on and on and on..." I clear my throat and lean back nonchalantly, spreading my arms across the back of the sofa, "It's your fault for making me go," I nod to Elijah.

"Actually, it's Callum's. He wanted you to know what you're getting into seeing as you will be the first port of call to talk to that lawyer... Liam was it?" Elijah chuckles.

I turn to Callum to see a mischievous glint in his eye.

Asshole.

"Fucking brilliant," I groan, looking up to the ceiling for my sanity.

Elijah glances at his watch, his expression turning to surprise when he sees the time.

"Shall we go to the gym?" he asks us, knowing we will say yes.

"Nah, I'm not gonna go today," Callum says, causing both Elijah and I to look at him in shock.

"What?" I ask, my jaw almost dropping.

Mr Muscle is having a rest day?

Does not compute.

"Yeah right," Elijah scoffs, standing up, "Are you afraid I'll knock you to the ground again?"

"That was a one time thing," Callum grumbles, clenching his fists as he stands up.

"And you're scared it'll happen for a second time," I jeer him on.
