"We're going out," Hannah bursts through my apartment door as soon as I open it

"We're going out," Hannah bursts through my apartment door as soon as I open it.

"Hello to you, too," I laugh at her.

She smiles at me, twirling around in her red velvet halter bralette and tight leather jeans. Her pin straight, red hair flies out as she spins.

"You look beautiful," I compliment her.

"You will too," she smiles mischievously.

I follow her as she storms into my room, heading straight to my wardrobe. She pulls open the doors and begins rifling through my clothes.

"Wear this," she pulls out a short black dress with a V neckline edged with lace.

"It barely covers my ass, Han," I say as I reluctantly take the dress from her outstretched hand.

"Perfect," she claps her hands together.

Rolling my eyes, I begin to take off my work clothes, feeling my whole body relax as I remove my bra.

I slide on the dress, loving the way it fits my curves but feeling slightly nervous about the thought of wearing outside.

"Fuck me," Hannah exclaims when she emerges from my bathroom with my curlers in her hand, "Girl, you really challenge my bisexuality. Men just cannot compare to you." She winks at me as I giggle at her comment, sitting down at my dressing table as she plugs in my curlers.

"I'll curl your hair whilst you do your makeup," she insists, already separating it into sections.

I do as she says, learning a while ago not to argue with her when she's as determined as this.

I switch on my 'getting ready' playlist on my phone and apply my makeup, feeling sexy for the first time in a while.

Just as I finish adding a red lip, Hannah finishes the last lock of my hair, letting it hang down my back in long, blonde tendrils.

I smirk at myself in the mirror, feeling more confident about going out now that I look put together.

"I think I want to dye my hair," I announce to Hannah as she unplugs the curlers.

"To what?" she furrows her eyebrows at me.

"Maybe like a light brown?" I purse my lips as I stair at my hair in the mirror.

"Ohhh, that would be cute," she says before turning around and searching my wardrobe for shoes.

She pulls out a pair of black stilettos for me and I step into them before following her out the door.

She rushes downstairs, somehow having managed to book a taxi to arrive now.

I slide in next to her, adrenaline coursing through my veins.
