"You deserve this

"You deserve this."

Hannah's voice rings through my head as I stare at myself in the mirror.

Despite Callum's revelation yesterday, she reminded me I have too much worth to accept their first offer.

I am a master negotiator, after all.

So here I am, dressed up to the nines for a blind date Hannah sourced through the guy she's seeing. I twirl my curled blonde hair which bounces in ringlets down to my upper-arm. My makeup shows the perfect tangle of blush and bronzer, with a soft pink lip tying it together.

I smooth down my dress, a simple black mini dress that stops mid-thigh. The neckline is cut to a deep-v, the push up bra giving a taste as to what's underneath. My patent, black louboutins give a touch of elegance and boost my confidence with each step.

"You deserve this."

With Hannah's mantra deeply engrained in my head, I grab my clutch bag and head out the door, grabbing a taxi to the restaurant.

My breathing is ragged, in small, shallow breaths, as the taxi drives along the bustling London roads.

The warm heating of the restaurant hits me as I swing the large glass door open, my eyes scanning around the room. It's a modern, rustic style, with exposed wooden tables and white painted chairs surrounding them.

The tones of the walls are light and airy, whilst candles give most of the light in the room.

I reach the hostess and give her my name, waiting patiently as she searches her system. I walk on shaky legs as she guides me to a table, letting me know she will bring my date over when he arrives.

I guess Hannah explained the situation when she booked this.

Trying to stifle my anxiety, I open the menu in front of me, not really able to take in the words on the page due to my rapidly beating heart.

I hate first dates.

I check my watch.

He's almost fifteen minutes late.

I swear I'm going to kill Hannah.

My eyes scan around the room and my breath hitches when I see the last person I want to see right now.

His cool, grey eyes land on me and a shiver runs up my spine. I watch as a mischievous smile spreads across his lips. He starts to walk over to my table, making me bite my lip apprehensively.

"Fancy seeing you here," he purrs, his voice sultry and seductive as usual.

"I could say the same to you, Zach," I smile at him.

"Well we do own the restaurant," he shrugs, his smile never wavering. I blush, hating myself for not figuring that out earlier.

He pulls out the chair opposite me and I watch in shock as he undoes his black suit jacket before sitting down.
