I take a sip from my glass of whiskey, peering over the rim to watch for Carlie's return to the ballroom.

Zara drifts towards my waist, seemingly wanting affection and I give in. Placing my glass down on the table nearby, I move her in front of me and wrap my arm around her waist. With my other hand, I move the hair from her shoulder and place small kisses on it, keeping both her and our image satisfied.

My eyes continue to look at the doorway to the bathrooms and my gaze narrows when I see Carlie push through the doors, a professional smile on her face.

It almost hides the longing in her eyes.

She's smoothed down her hair but still looks ravishing in that dress of hers. It shows her slender back which I would love to mark all over.

Our eyes meet.

Fuck, she drives me crazy.

Her smile falters when she sees me kissing Zara's shoulders. I can't help but smirk at her disappointed reaction.

She quickly recovers herself and walks over to her annoying assistant.

As soon as she turns away from me, I release my grip on Zara and nod to my brothers to leave.

Heading outside, I light a cigarette and lean against the wall in the shadows.

Zara's nice but she's not the girl I actually want.

I breathe out and rest my head against the wall, remembering earlier with Carlie. The sound of her breathy voice with her body pressed against me.

Christ.

I need to stop.

The car pulls up and I hold the door open for Zara, who climbs in after Elijah and Zach. As I climb in, I notice Carlie outside, her body looking irresistible in that dress.

She looks at me with wide eyes and I can't help but smirk at her before shutting the door.

My back slumps against the seat and I sigh, shutting my eyes.

When I open them again, my brothers are both staring at me, knowing looks in their eyes. I roll mine and look out the window, watching the world pass by.

If only they knew.

We drop off Zara first before heading back to our house.

As we pull into the drive, I can think of little else than needing to spend a lot of time in the gym.

And a cold shower.

I leap out of the car as soon as it pulls to a stop and head down to the basement.

I change from my tux into a pair of grey basketball shorts and wrap my wrists.

None of my brothers come downstairs and I silently thank the lord, knowing I'm too pent up to distinguish where my punches land.
