"Zach, no," I warn him as I follow into his office

"Zach, no," I warn him as I follow into his office. He's been whistling the entire time since she left and I know he's planning something.

"Yes, brother?" he says in a suspicious tone with a large grin on his face as he swivels his office chair round to face me.

"I'm serious, Zach," I narrow my eyes at him as I sit down in a chair opposite his desk. He crosses his arms and leans back in his seat, an evil grin plastered on his lips.

"I haven't done anything," he holds his arms up in mock-defence.

"Yet," I mutter as I glare at him.

The door slams against the wall as Cal pulls it open furiously. Zach and I both watch him as he walks and sit in the chair next to us, his face like thunder.

"Ah, hello big bro," Zach claps his hands together playfully, "how we've missed you."

Cal crosses his arms and scowls at Zach who winks at him before turning his attention back to me.

"As I was saying, I won't do anything with Carlie... yet," Zach raises an eyebrow, his face serious.

"At all, Zach," I warn him. He nods, sensing my tone, and drops the subject.

"What's up, Cal?" I turn to him, seeing his furious expression.

"That weasly fucker, Liam, pissed me off," he scowls as he uncrosses his arms and clenches his fists.

I look to Zach and we both burst out laughing, deepening Cal's bad mood.

"Fuck you guys," Cal growls.

Zach keels over laughing whilst I try to control myself but fail miserably. Cal looks between us both, rolling his eyes.

"I think we should find another law firm," he deadpans, stopping both of us laughing immediately.

"Fuck no," Zach glares at him.

"I don't think they're the right fit," Cal shrugs.

"Cal," I start but stop when Zach rises from his chair and circles his desk, heading straight to Cal with clenched fists. Cal stands and squares up to him.

"You just can't get it through your head that you like her," Zach pokes Cal's chest.

"Step back," Cal warns him, cracking his neck from side to side.

"Guys stop," I decide to step in and push them both away by their chests.

"Cal, we're not getting rid of them until we have a genuine reason to do so," I point to my older brother, "And Zach, stop winding him up."

Cal gives us one final glare before storming out and slamming the door behind him. It rattles and I'm surprised the glass doesn't break.

Zach clears his throat and straightens his suit. I watch as he walks around to his desk and sits again, ignoring me as he types on his computer.
