"CALLUM!"
He walks into my office, not a care in the world or in his eyes. I practically seethe at the sight of his nonchalance.
"You called," he mutters, his voice gruff as he sits down in one of the chairs across from my desk. I pace the room, hearing Zach's footsteps reaching the room.
"What's going on?" he asks as he walks in, confusion written all over his face.
"Carlie rejected our offer," I inform them through gritted teeth. I keep pacing, not even being able to look at Callum without wanting to punch him.
"So?" he shrugs. My fists clench at my side.
"Wait... what did she say?" Zach asks, ignoring our older brother.
"She said she appreciates the offer but feels as though she wouldn't be comfortable working in an environment with Callum," I sit down at my desk, glaring at Cal. He stares back blankly, fuelling my rage.
"What did you do?" Zach turns to Cal and narrows his eyes, his hands also clenching into fists. I note the dangerously low tone of his voice, a clear sign of his brewing anger.
"Nothing she didn't want," Cal shrugs, pulling this phone out and looking bored.
"What the fuck is that supposed to mean?" I seethe.
"Did something happen when you disappeared at the club?" Zach raises his eyebrow.
"Sure," Cal scrolls through his phone, only shrugging his shoulders as he speaks.
"Jesus Christ," I rub my hand over my face.
"You fucker," Zach stands up, looking ready o punch tCal.
"Did you fucking hurt her," I stand up too, my vision going red.
"Of course I didn't," Cal looks up from his phone with an incredulous look. He scans Zach's pose before placing his phone back in his pocket.
"Then what the fuck could you have done that meant she wouldn't want to work with you? Not us... you," I circle the desk, standing right in front of him.
He stands up, meeting me at eye-level.
"I'm bored of this conversation," he narrows his eyes at me. As he turns to walk away, I grab him by the collar and shove him against the wall. My fist collides with his face, the pain and pleasure of punching the smug shit ricocheting through my body.
"What the fuck, man?" Cal glares at me.
"Tell me what you fucking did, right now," I say, my voice low and unnervingly calm.
"Fine, fine," he holds his hands up. I release his collar and nod to the seat, watching as he sits down again. Zach and I take our previous positions in our seats, staring at him intensely, waiting for his answer.
