She looks insatiable.

But I won't.

She is incredible.

But I can't.

I shake the inappropriate thoughts from my head as we walk into the restaurant. She smiles at the waiter as he greets us, making me want to punch him for being on the receiving end of her sweet smile.

He guides us to a table in the far corner of the busy restaurant and makes a move to pull out her chair but stopping when Zach glares at him.

As the waiter scurries off, Zach helps Carlie into her chair whilst I resume the seat next to her.

It's a decent-sized rectangular, glass table with pristine place settings and a lamp as a centre-piece.

Zach takes the seat opposite her, whilst Callum emerges from somewhere and sits opposite me.

I kick him subtly as he scowls at the table, but he keeps his gaze solely fixed downwards.

What is up with him?

Carlie shuffles next to me, clearly growing uncomfortable at the tension as she eyes flicker nervously to Callum's closed off position.

He keeps his arms folded as he sits in his chair, probably wishing to be anywhere but here.

"Have you been here before, love?" Zach diverts to conversation, trying to break the claustrophobic tense atmosphere.

"No," she shakes her head as she open the menu, her eyes widening as she scans the list of options, "God, I've never seen so much choice."

Zach side eyes me, his eyebrow furrowing an inch as he side eyes Callum. I shake my head to tell him to leave Cal alone before looking down at my own menu.

The waiter comes over, causing Cal to look up for the first time since getting here. He glares at the man as he takes Carlie's order, clearly possessive about her, too.

I choose a steak and order a bottle of red wine for the table. Carlie originally objects to the alcohol due to it being a work day but after persuasion from Zach, agrees to one glass.

"So tell us about yourself, Carlie," I say as I unbutton my suit jacket and lean back.

I don't miss the way she watches me as I stretch out, but I don't smirk in response like I want to.

"Well, not much to say really. I graduated university and went straight into a training contract so qualified early," she shrugs and takes a sip of her wine, her eyes closing as she does so.

I watch as the liquid travels down her throat, making my trousers tighten at the thought of her swallowing me like that.

Fuck.
