Chapter 19

Lucy was the first wake, it was still fairly early, her body was tangled with Tim's. She loves waking up with him and spending time with him. Lucy careful untangled herself from him, she smirked as she knew how she wanted to wake him up. She moved under the blanket, the room was silence when all of a sudden a groan filled the silence. "Baby?" Tim went to reach out for Lucy but his arm fell to an empty space. He heard some giggles and lifted the blanket to find Lucy, they had some fun before going for a shower, where the warm water was very welcomed.

They changed and then moved to Artemis's room to wake her up. "Ari, time for you to get up for school." Artemis stirs to see her parents, "mummy, daddy! Morning." They all exchange their good morning and got ready. "Daddy come I ride on your back to school?" "Of course darling, make sure you hold on okay?" She nods and he transforms. Lucy helps get Artemis settled on his back. They all head to the school, Lucy and Tim says goodbye to Artemis, wishing her a good day and then they were off.

"Babe, Angela, Nyla and myself are going to do some training today." "Ok, Wes and I have a few meetings today." They say goodbye to each other. Lucy ran to the training grounds to see Angela and Nyla sparring with each other. "Hey, there's our luna." Lucy transforms, "you don't need to call me that, you both are like my sisters." She hugs them both. "Sorry, you know we are trained to respect our Lunas and Alphas." "I know, it's hard to break habits that we are taught. Anyways what are we doing today." Angela and Nyla look at each other. 

"We going to be fighting, but not one on one." "Okay, let's go." They all transform and were fighting each other. They were training but also having some fun when a wolf came running to them and howled. Lucy turned her head around, they all transform. Angela and Nyla were each on one side of Lucy ready to defend her. The other wolf transforms and it was Matt. "Matt? What are you doing here?" 

Lucy was confused but also worried about Artemis. "Just letting you know that Artemis is okay but we do have a situation down at the school." Nyla spoke up, "problem?" "Yeah one of the female pups cannot transform back to human, we have tried but nothing is working." "What do you want us to do about it?" Matt looked at the girls. "It's Kate, Artemis is with her trying to keep her calm." Lucy glance at the girls. "Don't worry Lucy, we'll be right by your side." They all transform and head to the school until there were outside of the 3-4 year olds class.

Arriving there, it was a bit chaos. Lucy barked to get everyones attention and they all move out of her way. Lucy approached Artemis and Kate, which of course Artemis saw her mum and let a happy bark out, then nuzzled her head with Lucy's. She moved out of the way so her mum could move to Kate. Lucy rests her head on the ground in front of Kate, she softly barks to get her attention and when Kate saw Lucy she jumped up and ran into Lucy. The teachers got the others back into the classroom to give them privacy. She lays down and Kate snuggles up to Lucy, some time pass and Kate transformed back to human, so did Lucy.

"Thank you and sorry for dragging you here." "It's okay, no need to apologise. How about I take you out for the day?" A smiles dawned on her face and she nodded her head. "Mummy, can I stay here?" Lucy nods. A conversation later the girls were walking out with Kate, she was riding on Lucy's back. They took her to the lake where they hang out.

"What's going on?" Angela looked down at the small pup. "I made fun of for my size and no parents." All the girls hearts break hearing this, a young pup getting bullied because of something she cannot control. "Do they have places for the children without parents?" Lucy questioned. "Yeah there's an orphan centre but without people to take the children it has gotten out of hand." Lucy thought about some solution. "I have a crazy idea, do you both trust me?" "Of course we do." Nyla gets Kate settled on Lucy's back.

Running through the village until they reach a cabin on the outskirts of the village, Lucy knocked on the door. "Hi Lucy, what brings you here?" "Could we come in?" Genny nods and lets them all in settling on the couches. "So, I have a crazy idea that I wanted to run past you. You helped me so much with my self control, I have heard that the orphans, especially the female pups. What would you say to out of school giving the kids a place where they can learn that control in a safe environment??" Genny looked down to see the little pup and thought about it. "Lucy, I love your idea. I don't have anything planned so I would be more than happy to help the young pups." "You sure?" "Yeah I am. They deserve the help and it's been hard to find people to take them in, I'm more than happy to help out." Lucy hugs Genny and thanks her.

"Now more importantly, who's this cutie?" Genny points to the small pup. "This is Kate, she's an orphan. Has a fear of transforming when I met her yesterday and panicked today so here we are." "She's so much smaller than wolves her age." All the girls agree. "Let's sit down and work out these plans."
