Days passed by just the way one flips through the pages of a book , Monami who had entered her sixth month of pregnancy had a lot of hormones dancing all over .
It had become quite difficult for her to not get annoyed or irritated and she had to bit back her tongue so that she didn't lash out on anyone.
Right now she was in her cabin, it was lunch break but Janhavi was caught up with some board meetings.
Monami didn't want to eat the lunch, so she packed the lunch as it is and slept with her head kept down.
Janhavi just got free and went to check on Monami.
She sighed looking at the sleeping figure.
She then checked the lunch box and realized that her darling daughter had not had her lunch.
She then caressed Monami's hair lovingly which broke Monami's sleep.
She smiled looking at Janhavi.
Janhavi then glared at Monami making her gulp in fear just like a child who gets caught by their parent for doing some mischief.
Janhavi: Monami beta, kripya mujhe yeh batao ki tumne khaana kyu nahi khaaya?!
Monami : Mumma mera mann nahi kar raha hain.
Pata nahi aaj kal khaana pasand nahi aa raha hain aur kabhi kabhi main irritate ho jaati hoon.
Mumma pata hain ,aaj kal mujhe bahut zyaada mood swings bhi hota hain ,main kaise bhi karke khud ko sambhalti hoon lekin ab mere liye mushkil ho raha hain .
Kabhi kabhi bahut gussa aata hain aur kabhi kabhi mujhe bahut chidchid hota hain.
Janhavi smiled on hearing Monami's words.
Janhavi: Beta yeh sab bahut common hain pregnancy ke dauran.
Don't worry tumhara jo man karein khaane ko, mujhe batana main tumhare liye bana dungi aur agar gussa ,irritation yah koi bhi feeling ho ,bejijak hoke apni Maa ke paas aana.
Lekin dawai miss mat karna uske liye koi excuse nahi chalega.
Monami giggled and Janhavi hugged Monami.
She then , put her and Monami's lunch for heating as the Duo sat and spoke about a case that Janhavi was handling.
Once the food was warm, Janhavi fed Monami lovingly and Monami was enjoying being fed.
She remembered her childhood days,before she lost her Mom.
Her Mom used to feed her whenever she had holidays and Monami used to being a bit dramatic those days.
She used to run around and Juhi had a hard time feeding her food but nonetheless she used to catch Monami and make her have the food.
Monami's hand went to her belly and she caressed it as in a few months now she would be holding her own child and then she too would have to run around.
The thought itself was beautiful and Monami smiled more.
Once done with the lunch the ladies continued discussing about the case and then left to Shergill Mansion.
Zui was knitting sweaters while Colonel Vijay was reading a book with immense concentration.
Karan who had finished his work in the Academy had come home early.
He was then playing with Coco.
Coco was growing up fast and also very mischievous and playful. But she was very aggressive when she saw any other person like the postman or the delivery guys.
She would look at them intently and kept glaring until they left.
Monami and Janhavi reached home where Karan helped Monami reach the room.
He then made her lie down on the bed and started massaging her feet.
Monami smiled at his care and thanked God for sending Karan in her life who stood by her in every moment and never once did he judge her.
Karan then presses her shoulders and also kept his head on her belly as he and kept talking to their unborn.
Monami dozed off tired after a long day at work and when Karan realised that he smiled at the sleeping figure of his wife and his little fur baby Coco who had slept over her mother.
Karan then silently tiptoed and went to the hall where Janhavi was sitting and telling Zui and Col.Vijay about Monami's mood swings.
Col.Vijay: Janhavi Beta, Monami ko toh abhi mood swings aa rahe hain.Pata hain jab Zui pregnant thhi tab uske mood swings baapre woh toh pehle din se shuru hogaya thha.
Zui fake glared at Col.Vijay and he got scared ,well Biwi ke saamne Pati ki bolti band ho jaati hain.
Karan and Janhavi laughed at the adorable young couple . Karan had installed secret cameras in his room so that he could keep a tap on Monami's day to day activities.
He then took out his phone and saw Monami cuddling Coco in her sleep,he realised that in a few minutes she would be up and about .
He excused himself and was blushing like a newly wed bride as the elders teased him to no extent. He slowly opened the room door and climbed on his bed. He sat beside Monami's head and caressed her hair. She stirred in her sleep and hid her face near his waist and her hands wound around his waist.
He chuckled which broke Coco's sleep,she climbed on her Papa's lap and snuggled onto his chest. Karan kept his one hand near Coco and the other hand kept caressing Monami's hair, in a few minutes Monami's sleep broke and soon the trio spent some quality time together and enjoyed the gentle breeze that blew through the gardens as they sat on the coffee table they had set up in their balcony with Coco laying comfortably on Monami,s lap.
Karan :Thank you so much Monami mujhe duniya ki sabse badi khushi dene ke liye.
Monami smiled and cupped Karan's face and kissed his forehead and told Thank you Karan meri zindagi mein aakar,meri zindagi ko sawarne ke liye aur meri har mushkil mein mere saath dene ke liye.
Karan smiled and kissed Monami's forehead and they saw the sky ,change into vibrant hues of orange and red as the sun set down marking the beginning of night.
