Vaccination Day

It was Ishanvi's first vaccination day, Moran were really scared as their little one would be injected and it would pain too much and hearing their Ishu wail was something they were not prepared mentally.

Nonetheless they decided to go with a facade of braveness put upon their face.

Ishanvi was looking at Janhavi who had held her in her arms after giving her a nice massage and bath.

Moran and others sat to have breakfast while Ishanvi was kept in the stroller next to Monami.

The tiny human yawned as she was tired after her massage and bath slept with a smile on her face.

Moran quickly got ready and Monami carried Ishanvi in her arms.

Karan quickly got the car ready and helped Monami sit in the passenger seat comfortably.

Karan,the overprotective Family Man, drove the car at snail's pace and avoided as many potholes as he could.

Soon they reached Shergill Hospital and Monami confirmed with the receptionist and then went to the Paediatrician, Mrs. Deepa,  a middle aged woman, whose cheerfulness uses to make the kids smile.

Mrs Deepa, did Ishu's physical examination and was noting down all the readings on her scribble pad.

She then asked the Sister to get the vaccines.

Hearing this, both Moran were tensed.

Mrs.Deepa, smiled at their overprotective behaviour, the first few vaccines were easy to give Ishu,as they were given orally and were sweet to taste.

Then came the long needle, which was fit in the syringe.

Dr.Deepa, drew the vaccine into the syringe and quickly injected it into Ishu's body.

Moran closed their eyes tightly unable to see their little one get injected.

Ishu had slept peacefully, after the oral vaccines had been given to her .

She slightly stirred when the injection was being injected but the Sister out there caressed her head .

Moran were glad that Ishu didn't wail like the other girls but knew that she might developed fever after the vaccination.

Mrs Deepak just gave a few general advice to Moran and they took her leave.

Once outside ,the cabin Karan pecked his daughter's forehead, and was proud that his daughter was like a little lion cub and didn't cry when the vaccine had been administered.

They went to the Car, and then headed back home.

Everyone were waiting for the trio impatiently and Coco was the most impatient.

The moment the trio were in sight ,Coco let out a bark showing her presence.

Karan took he run his arms while Monami quickly went to the room as she had to change Ishu's clothes as it had become soiled and also feed the tiny human.

Karan took Coco put for a long walk and  then came home and saw both his wife and daughter sleeping .

No sooner did he turn around that he heard Ishu wail.

Monami was deep alseep,so Karan took Ishu in his arms and cooed her.

He knew she wouldn't be hungry as Monami had just fed her sometime back, an head also pumped a little milk out and kept it ready incase she was asleep and Ishu woke up.

He checked if Ishu's clothes were not soiled and realized that Ishu was burning in fever.

He quickly placed Ishu in her cradle,  and rushed to get her medicines .

He fed the medicines to Ishu and then kept her close to his chest as he walked around the room so that she slept.

Once she slept,which she did after a great difficulty, Karan laid her in her cot .

He sat on the couch near Ishu's couch and admired his sleeping cub and then started working as he had to prepare a few reports and send it to Col.Batra, in a week .

Monami woke up after sometime and saw how Karan was taking care of Ishu and also not forgetting his work.

She sat beside him and kept her head on his shoulder, Karan smiled at her antics.

He tucked a few strands of her hair that had come bouncing and dancing on her face.

Coco too came and snuggled in Monami's lap.

It was a perfect little family.

Ishu woke up and saw her surroundings.

Moran chuckled at the way she was looking at things all around her .

Suddenly, the door bell rang.
They separated and quickly went downstairs to see who had come.

Well it was the Chief Minister who had come with lots to gifts for Moran and the Ishu.

Chief Minister: Kaise ho Karan ?
Kaha hain hamari Lion Cub?

Karan : Main theek hoon Sir, ask kaise hain ?!
Aapki tabiyat kaisi hain ?

Yeh rahi hamari choti sherni!

Saying So, Karan showed the Chief Minister, the little Ishu who and made a cute pout.

Chief Minister took her in his arms.

He was delighted looking at the tiny human looking at him with her doe shaped eyes .

He played with Ishu for a while and blessed Moran and then left.

Ishu who was now awake had become the centre if attraction she made very own dance on her tunes.

Zui used to sing songs while, Col Vijay used to narrate stories and make animated faces that made Ishu giggle.

Janhavi told her tales of her father's mischief when he was a kid,which made Monami laugh at him while Karan felt embarrassed.

It was night and Ishu was kept between Karan and Monami,  the duo now got to spend time with their little one as everyone lived her to no extent and would not let the duo very close to her as they wanted to spend time with her.

Ishu had her milk and then Monami fed her the medicines .

She then changed her clothes and covered her nicely with the blanket.

Monami sang a lullaby that Juhi used to sing for her when Monami was a kid and now she sang it for her kid.

Karan also slept after listening to Monami's lullaby and Monami smiled she covered him with duvet and then herself.
