Karthik's POV 

After 7 months 

Morning 6:30, Santa Clara, California.

 I went downstairs to get myself a fresh coffee, as we were over with the tea yesterday evening. Getting tea is not really an easy task here, and that too in the office, it's as difficult as scurrying water from the desert. But coffee ain't that bad, especially Lattè, it's addictive as tea and smell of Vennela too. These past 7 months were the greatest days I had enjoyed with my lovely wifey. 

 Vennela had a really long night attending a Paris client meeting, she is looking for Jobs, but having a really tough time finding one. I said that my 6-figure salary would be enough for the next generations, but she wasn't listening to me at all. 

What all happened in these past few months?

What an amazing time we had in India. Jaydeep and Praneetha's wedding was a grand affair, filled with vibrant colors and joyous celebrations. Vennela and I reveled in the festivities, dancing under the twinkling lights, our hearts light with happiness. Soon after, we attended the wedding of Anirudh and Shobha. Their send-off to the Netherlands with Athaiyya and Mavayya was a bittersweet moment, filled with tearful goodbyes and hopeful wishes.

Renting our 4 BHK apartment in Bangalore was another milestone. We filled the spacious rooms with laughter and love, creating countless memories. Our little bike rides to the mountains, capturing the captivating scenes on my camera, were moments of pure bliss. Time seemed to fly by so quickly, and before we knew it, it was time for us to embark on our next adventure.

After the wedding, Vennela and I decided to take some time off to explore the beauty of South India. We traveled to Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu, immersing ourselves in the rich culture and stunning landscapes.

We wandered through the lush backwaters of Kerala, enjoyed the serene beaches of Karnataka, and marveled at the ancient temples of Tamil Nadu. Each place left us with unforgettable memories. The journey brought us even closer, reinforcing the bond we shared.

As we stood on the shores of a quiet beach in Kerala, watching the sunset, I wrapped my arms around her, "This is perfect," I whispered.

"It really is, like you" she replied, feeling a profound sense of peace and happiness.

"Why don't we click some amazing shots, you stand over here" I stood up and started to do a photoshoot for my wife. 

After clicking 100s of photos, when I showed her those photos, she reacted. 

"There is a saying right, 'Engineers can so anything better than Engineering', but my husband can do anything perfectly. I loved them Kanna" she hugged me. She was mesmerized by the beauty of those scenes and I am mesmerized by her.

After our travels, it was time to embark on the next chapter of our lives. We boarded our flight to America, filled with excitement and anticipation. Our destination: Santa Clara, California.

The flight was long, but we kept each other company, sharing dreams and plans for our new life. When we finally landed, the reality of our move began to sink in. We were in a new country, ready to start afresh.

Santa Clara welcomed us with open arms. The city was vibrant and bustling with life. We found a cozy apartment that felt just right for us. Adjusting to the American lifestyle took some time, but we embraced the change together.

Our journey had been full of ups and downs, but every challenge had only made us stronger. We had created a life filled with love, adventure, and mutual respect.
