Author's POV
They both felt not talking to each other, and having great ego issues. Vennela quit going back to her office and Karthik became more workaholic even if there wasn't a lot of work to do. He was overworking and the moment she knew he was about to come home she would go and lock herself inside the room. She was getting closer to her shift to Delhi, she already had a few connections from her Delhi branch and teammates. She was talking with all her family members and whenever it was about Karthik, she diverted or dodged their questions.
She never thought that she would crossover a night before her final move to Delhi and he took courage to stop her.
"Vennela" he called her. She felt not to keep silent this time, and she felt that at least there should not be any guilt before she left this house, she already sent her architectural instruments and all her craft materials by speed post to Delhi so that she could collect them with her roommate of her office over there.
"Yes," she kept it short.
"Vennela, please forgive me," he said.
"Okay," she said and went inside the kitchen.
"I know I made a mistake," he said
"I know," she said.
"Please call me Kanna, pleaseeee" he sat down on his knees, begging for forgiveness. Reminded by his father's words over the terrace.
"I made all arrangements," she said.
"I am sorry" he cried. She too bent down. Held his hands.
"I am sorry too, but it's time for me to go," she said and left from there.
He was there at the door of the balcony.
He was sad for many reasons, all he could do was not to let her go from him. He was the coolest version of him but never thought he was so immature for a reason that happened a week ago. He was sad, unhappy about himself, and truly behaving mad about his behaviour.
A matter that pulled him back from his work was Vennela. Her last bid was "It's time for me to go"He knocked on her door.
"Vennela" he called her, she opened it without any hesitation"Yes," she said
"Shall I drop you, tomorrow?" he asked her.
"Yes, you can if you want to," she said.
"Thanks," he said
"Come," she said and invited him inside.
"You packed all?" He asked
"Yes I had to send everything to Delhi, actually it's Noida but anyway" she said and continued to settle her things.
"You will never come here again?" He asks her.
"I will" she said folding her last pair of clothes.
She sat beside him on the bed. And leaned her head on his shoulders. Held his hands.
