Y/n Pov-

As I finished watching the videos, I decided I had to confront Noah about his forgetfulness. I got out of bed and started getting ready for the day, trying to compose myself before facing him.

As I got in my car and drove to the Neumann's house, Noah was sitting on the couch, scrolling through his phone. He looked up and smiled when he saw me, but I could sense the guilt radiating from him.

"Hey, what's up?" he asked, trying to sound casual.

I took a deep breath and approached him. "We need to talk," I said firmly.

Noah's expression turned serious as he put his phone away. "What's wrong?"

I pulled out my phone and showed him the anniversary posts from our friends. His eyes widened in surprise as he realized what was going on.

"Oh, y/n... I'm so sorry," he said, looking down at his feet. "I completely forgot."

I felt a mix of emotions - hurt, anger, and disappointment. "You forgot our anniversary?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady.

Noah nodded sheepishly. "I got caught up in basketball practice and just... forgot."

I crossed my arms over my chest. "Forgot? That's not an excuse, Noah. This is our special day, and it meant a lot to me."

Noah looked up at me with apologetic eyes. "I know, y/n. And I'm truly sorry. Can we make it up to each other?"

I hesitated for a moment before nodding. "We'll see," I said curtly.

Noah looked relieved but still worried. "Okay... what do you want to do?"

I thought for a moment before responding. "Let's go out tonight and celebrate properly. Make it up to me."

Noah's face lit up with excitement. "That sounds like a plan!"

We agreed to meet up later that night, and I left him alone to wallow in his guilt for a bit longer.
