Nelson's Pov

I was in the zone, capturing every moment of the game for my fans. I loved interacting with them, hearing their cheers and chants. As I snapped a photo with a group of girls, I turned around to get a different angle and that's when I saw her. Her piercing eyes locked onto mine, and I felt my breath catch in my throat. Time seemed to stand still as I froze, taking in her beauty. Cam called my name, snapping me back to reality, but I couldn't help but steal another glance at her.

Before the buzzer went off, signaling the end of the warmup time, I turned to Cam and told him about the girl. "Dude, have you seen her? She's stunning!" He just chuckled and patted me on the back, saying, "Yeah, I saw her too, Nelson. You're going to make a great impression."

As we took the court for the second half, I couldn't shake off the feeling that I needed to get closer to her. Niles passed me the ball, and I saw my chance. I shot a three-pointer, holding up three fingers and pointing at her as she smiled at me from the crowd. The energy was electric, and my teammates were hyped.

At halftime, I made my move. I pushed through the crowd, my eyes scanning the sea of faces until I found her again. This time, I made my way over to her group of friends and managed to extract her from the crowd. We made our way to the bench, where we sat down and talked for a bit.

As the game resumed, I shot five more three-pointers, each one seeming to get better than the last. Noah yelled out "WHOOOHOOOO" as I scored another one, and this time I looked over at y/n (as I had learned her name) and smiled.

After the game, we chatted for a bit longer before parting ways. But as we exchanged numbers, something clicked between us. We texted all night, getting to know each other better.

**y/n's POV**

I had been watching Nelson play for a while now, mesmerized by his skills on the court. But it wasn't until he caught my eye that things got really interesting. His piercing blue gaze held mine for what felt like an eternity before he snapped out of it and rejoined his teammates.

As we watched from the stands during halftime, Nelson made a beeline for us, chatting with his friends and fans along the way. When he finally reached our group, he introduced himself and asked for my number. I couldn't help but smile as he asked me about my favorite player (himself, of course).

The second half of the game was exciting. Nelson's energy was contagious, and his skills on the court were nothing short of amazing. When he shot that three-pointer during our conversation at halftime and pointed at me with a mischievous grin, my heart skipped a beat.

After the game, Nelson made his way over to us once more, this time with a more serious tone. We chatted for a bit longer before parting ways again. But as we exchanged numbers and said our goodbyes, something sparked between us.

As we texted through the night, getting to know each other better with every message sent and received...
