Y/n's Pov-

I couldn't believe it was already New Year's Eve. It felt like just yesterday Nelson, and I were starting our relationship, and now we were celebrating our first year anniversary together. I was so excited to spend the night with my family and Nelson's family, enjoying the holiday together.

As we arrived at Nelson's house, I was greeted with warm hugs and kisses from his siblings, Noah and Niles. His parents, Cassie and Spencer, beamed with pride as they welcomed me to the party. My parents, Brandy and Steven, smiled kindly as they joined in on the celebration.

Nelson's brothers were already setting up the music playlist, and my sister, Arionna, was busy making snacks in the kitchen. My other sister, Harley, was laughing with His brothers, Niles and Noah, as they chatted about our favorite TV shows.

We spent the evening mingling with our families, sharing stories and making memories. Nelson's mom pulled out old family photos and we spent hours looking through them, laughing at the silly pictures of Nelson's siblings when they were younger.

As the clock struck 11 PM, we gathered around the TV to watch the ball drop in Times Square. Nelson took my hand, and we snuggled up close as we watched the fireworks light up the sky. It was magical.

Nelson's Pov-

I couldn't believe how much my life had changed since I met y/n. From being just friends to being boyfriend and girlfriend, it had been an incredible journey. And now, we were celebrating our first year anniversary together.

As we spent the evening with y/n's family, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this amazing group of people who had welcomed me into their lives. My parents were beaming with pride as they chatted with y/n's parents, Brandy and Steven. My siblings were all having a blast with Y/n siblings, Arionna and Harley.

As we watched the ball drop on TV, I felt y/n's hand squeeze mine tightly. I glanced down at her and smiled, feeling my heart swell with love for her. We shared a kiss as the clock struck midnight, surrounded by our loved ones.

The rest of the night was a blur of laughter and celebration. We danced to music, played games, and even had a mini photo shoot with our families to capture some special memories. As we said our goodbyes and headed off to bed, I knew that this was a New Year's Eve I would never forget.

**The rest of the night:**

After leaving our families' gatherings, Nelson and I headed back to his house for a small after-party with some close friends. We laughed and joked around the kitchen table, sharing stories and making memories.

Eventually, it was time for us to call it a night. We hugged our guest goodbye and headed off to bed, exhausted but happy.

As we drifted off to sleep, Nelson wrapped his arms around me tightly. "I'm so grateful for you," he whispered in my ear. "You're my everything."

I smiled in my sleep, feeling grateful for this amazing guy who loved me so much.

And as we fell asleep under the twinkling lights of Nelson's bedroom ceiling fan, I knew that this New Year's Eve would be one for the books – filled with laughter, love, memories that would last a lifetime.
