Y/n Pov

Niles and nelson have been texting me for weeks to take them to the beach plus I had been hearing Niles and Nelson begging Noah to take them to the beach for weeks. But Noah had been busy with basketball practice and Basketball games, and I had been dealing with my own workload and personal stuff. We both kept saying no, thinking we just needed to focus on our own things for a bit.

But one day, I decided that we needed a day out, no matter what. So, I texted Niles and Nelson to get ready and meet me at the car. I grabbed some towels, snacks, and sunscreen, and loaded up my trunk. As I pulled up to the Neumann's house, Noah came out with his brother looking confused.

"What's going on?" he asked me.

"I'm taking us to the beach," I replied with a mischievous grin.

Nelson hopped in the car, and we set off. Nelson blasted some upbeat music as we drove to the coast. When we arrived, Niles and Nelson ran out of the car like they were shot out of a cannon - much to my dismay.

"NILES NELSON, BE CAREFUL!" I yelled after them.

Noah chuckled and grabbed my hand. "Let's go," he said, smiling at me with a hint of mischief in his eyes.

We walked onto the beach together, feeling the warm sand between our toes. Noah slung his arm around my shoulders and pulled me close. We walked along the shoreline, laughing and chatting with his brothers as they played in the waves.

As we settled down on our towels, Noah turned to me with a sly grin. "You know, I have a special surprise for you," he whispered.

He pulled out a small box from his bag and opened it to reveal a beautiful shell necklace. "I found this on our last trip here," he said. "I thought you'd like it."

I gasped in delight as he fastened it around my neck. "It's beautiful," I breathed.

Noah leaned in to kiss me as his brothers made gagging noises and ran back to the water. We spent the rest of the day soaking up the sun, playing games with his brothers, and enjoying each other's company.

As the sun began to set, we reluctantly packed up our things and headed back to the car. As we drove away from the beach, I looked at Noah and smiled, feeling grateful for this needed adventure.

"You know, sometimes I think we need days like this," I said softly.

Noah nodded in agreement. "Definitely. We need to make time for each other."

I smiled up at him, knowing that this was exactly what we needed - a reminder of our love and connection in the midst of life's chaos.

And here's Noah's POV:

I was still trying to wrap my head around why y/n was dragging my brothers to the beach when she pulled up at our house in her car. Niles and Nelson were bouncing around like crazy people, practically bouncing out of their skin with excitement.

When y/n told me she was taking us to the beach without even asking me first, I raised an eyebrow. But then she winked at me and said something about needing a day out. Okay, fine - she had my attention now.

As we drove to the coast, Nelson blasted music in the car and my brothers started singing along at the top of their lungs. When we arrived at the beach, they basically sprinted onto the sand while y/n warned me to be careful (as if I didn't know how to watch out for my little brothers).

But then she grabbed my hand and pulled me along beside her as we walked onto the beach together. It was like we were alone in our own little world - just us against the vast expanse of ocean and sky.

As we settled down on our towels, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this moment with y/n. We spent hours soaking up the sun, playing games with my brothers (who were getting more reckless by the minute), and enjoying each other's company.

When I surprised y/n with that shell necklace she loved it so much that it almost made me tear up (don't tell her that). Seeing her happy like that made me realize how much we needed days like this - days where we could just relax and enjoy each other's company without worrying about anything else.

As we packed up our things to leave, y/n leaned back into me and said something about needing days like this sometimes. And I knew exactly what she meant - sometimes life gets crazy and overwhelming, but moments like these reminded us of what truly mattered: each other.
