3rd person-

It had been eight months since Nelson and Y/N started dating, and from the moment they met, he fell for her infectious smile and kind heart. But in the world of fame, especially for a rising star like Nelson, not everything came easily. His fans adored him but had a tendency to be extreme, and sometimes cruel. Y/N had been on the receiving end of harsh comments and death threats from some of his more extreme admirers. She confided in her best friend, Alisha, who urged her to either tell Nelson or bring it to her mom's attention.

Y/n Pov-

"No way! I don't want to worry him," Y/N had replied, shaking her head fiercely. "He's got enough on his plate."

But as weeks passed, the pressure began to weigh on her more heavily than she expected. In a desperate bid to regain some appearance of control, she declared to Nelson that she was starting a new diet. She figured it was a harmless lie—something that might keep him from prying too deep.

When she started skipping meals, it felt like the only way to fight back against the pain of the cruel words and the fear creeping into her heart. At first, she felt a rush of relief and control, but soon the reality of starvation and fatigue began to haunt her.

One evening, as they lounged on the couch together watching her favorite movie, Nelson's instincts kicked in. He paused the film and turned to face Y/N, a concerned look etched on his face. "You okay? You've seemed a bit off lately."

Y/N forced a smile, nodding. "Yeah, just been busy with school and...you know how it is. Just trying to stay healthy."

But deep down, she knew that was a lie. Nelson could see through her front, and he felt a wave of worry crash over him. In the following days, he noticed other signs—her clothes fitting too loose, the circles under her eyes growing darker, and the way she often turned down dinner invitations or simply picked at her food.

It all came to a head one night when she collapsed after standing up too fast. Nelson rushed to her side, panic gripping his heart as he knelt next to her. "Y/N! What's going on? Please, talk to me!"

With trembling hands and tears in her eyes, she broke down. "I can't... I just wanted to feel better, to be better. I thought if I lost some weight, maybe your fans would leave me alone."

Nelson was at a loss for words. His heart ached at the pain she'd been carrying alone. His protective instincts kicked in, and a rush of anger flooded through him—not towards Y/N, but towards the toxic culture surrounding him.

"Y/N, you don't need to change for anyone! You are perfect, just the way you are!" he exclaimed, frustration obvious in his voice. "I can't believe you felt this way because of those idiots. We're going to fix this."

Without missing a beat, he picked up his phone and went live on his social media account, thousands of fans tuning in. "Hey everyone, I need to talk to you about something really important. My girlfriend, Y/N, has been facing some awful stuff from a few of you, and I'm sick of it. She is amazing the way she is, and nobody should ever feel less than perfect because of cruel comments."

The exclamation was immediate, with supportive messages flooding the comments. Nelson poured his heart out, speaking with an intensity that shocked Y/N. All the while, she felt supported and uplifted, knowing he was standing by her side.

After the live stream, he wrapped his arms around Y/N, holding her tightly against him. "You're not alone in this anymore," he whispered. "I promise to be here, no matter what."

Days passed, and with Nelson's support, Y/N started focusing on self-acceptance rather than fitting an erratic mold. Together, they sought professional help and worked on healthier habits, but most importantly, they established a foundation of trust and communication.

One cozy evening, after a long week of studying and little stress, Y/N let out a joyful laugh as they settled down on the couch, popcorn in hand. They decided to binge-watch their favorite series, the comfort of sanity wrapping around them like a warm blanket.

Nelson tossed a pillow at her playfully, his eyes sparkling. "You know, you're literally the best thing that's ever happened to me."

Y/N smiled back, leaning into him as he draped an arm around her. "And you're mine. I feel so much stronger with you."

As the credits rolled, they remained nestled against each other, cocooned in warmth. The outside world faded away, and for a moment, it was just them—two souls finding balance, healing, and an unbreakable bond.
