Noah Neumann was a 17-year-old high school student who had always been a bit of a hopeless romantic. He loved playing basketball not really caring about love and girls. Despite his tender age, Noah had already developed strong feelings for a girl named y/n, who was a year older than him and already attending college. He had met her through his best friend Cam, who was her cousin.

Noah lived with his parents, Cassie and Spencer, and his two younger brothers, Niles and Nelson. His brothers were both still in middle school, but they were always getting into mischief and keeping Noah on his toes. Nelson was the middle of the two brothers, and he was a bit of a wild child. He loved playing pranks on Noah and Niles, and the three of them would often have basketball battles and wrestling matches in their bedrooms.

Niles, on the other hand, was the sweet and sensitive one. He looked up to Noah and Nelson as a role model and loved playing basketball with his older brothers. Despite their age difference, the three brothers were incredibly close, and Noah often found himself taking on a mentorship role with Niles and Nelson.

Noah's friends were just as important to him as his family. Cam was his best friend since he started playing basketball and reached out to add Noah on the team, which made Noah and Cam get closer. Cam was a bit of a nerd, but he was also incredibly loyal and always had Noah's back. Then there was nelson's best friend, Jake, who was a bit of a class clown. The four of them would often hang out together on weekends, traveling or playing basketball together.

Despite his busy social life, Noah couldn't shake off the feeling that something was missing. He felt like y/n was the only one who truly understood him, but she was so far out of his league that he didn't dare hope for anything more than just friendship. Instead, he focused on his schoolwork and extracurricular activities, hoping that someday he would find someone who shared his passion for romance.

As the months went by, Noah's feelings for y/n only grew stronger. He would often see her at family gatherings or when Cam's family came over for dinner. They would talk for hours about everything from games Noah had played in to their hopes and dreams for the future. Noah knew that he had to tell her how he felt, but he was too afraid of rejection to take the risk.

One night, as Noah was walking home from Cam's house after a movie night, he saw y/n walking down the street with her boyfriend. His heart sank as he realized that she had moved on without him. He felt like he had lost his chance with her forever.

But then something unexpected happened. As Noah walked past y/n's house, he saw her standing on her front porch, looking out at the stars. She seemed lost in thought, and for a moment, their eyes met. Noah felt like he could see right into her soul, and in that instant, he knew that she felt the same way about him.

With newfound confidence, Noah approached y/n on the porch. "Hey," he said softly. "I've been wanting to talk to you for a while now."

y/n looked up at him with surprise in her eyes. "Oh? What's up?"

Noah took a deep breath before confessing his feelings. "I know this might sound crazy, but I've had feelings for you for a long time now. I know it's crazy to say this at our age, but I think we have something special."

y/n looked taken aback by Noah's confession. For what felt like an eternity, they just stared at each other in silence.

Finally, y/n spoke up. "Noah...I have feelings for you too."

Noah's heart soared as y/n took his hand in hers. They stood there for what felt like an eternity, looking up at the stars together.

From that moment on, Noah knew that he had finally found his true love in y/n. And even though it took him some time to muster up the courage to tell her how he felt, it was all worth it in the end.

As they walked hand in hand through the neighborhood streets, Noah couldn't help but feel grateful for his friends and family who had been there for him along the way. He knew that no matter what lay ahead in life's journey with y/n by his side.
