23. a legendary surprise

after a whole lot of walking we finally reach the entrance of the tower

-burned tower entrance-

Dawn: so this is the burned tower?

Ash: yup, this tower is 700 years but it got burned by a thunderstorm 150 years ago...

Lyra: was it that time that your ancestor decided to move to sinnoh?

Ash: yeah how do you know?

Lyra: i asked your mom cause i was  curious about the hair

Dawn: yeah i always like her hair

Serena: yeah but you have black hair when we first met

Ash: yeah when i transformed my hair changed which is the only time that rockets expirements did that, which only means its a hereditary or something and only females can get the rainbow hair...

Serena: but why rainbow hair?

Ash: well from 700 years ago until 150 years ago my ancestors worshiped  ho-oh and due to that ho-oh blessed them with its power which in turn changes there hair into rainbow color

Serena: but only females?

Ash: its was shrine with shrine maidens specifically only, the monks were in the other tower

Lyra: i see...was there any purpose for the power

Ash: well from what i remember from moms stories that it take a set number of maidens i think 7 or 8 if they dance around the tower they can call ho-oh

Dawn: but ashy does a rainbow wing and five regular maidens work?

Ash: yeah but the rainbow wing is equvilant of 7 rainbow haired maidens

Mitsumi: interesting so what would happen if get both

Ash: probably a instant summon of it

Serena: cool, so is there any other rainbow haired girls beside you and your mom?

Ash: i think there about less than 1% of the world and about half of that is here the rest is scattered through out the world

Dawn: now that you mention it, they are  about 3 or 4 shrine maidens with rainbow hair in the place i visited ko ko

Whitney: cool

Lyra: i also wanted to know this but keep forgetting but....

Ash:  just ask

Lyra: do the carpet match the drapes?

Ash: *blush* what why do you want to ask such a stupid question?

Lyra: its not stupid.... *blush* its a curious one

Dawn: oh they do

Ash: *blush* dawn how you know that? you never once peeked at mine (though you never tried)

Dawn: i remember sawing your moms when we all bathe when we were young

Ash: really? your going on what you remember?

Dawn: yup

Lyra: so does yours match ash?

Ash: *blush*im not going to answer that stupid question. now lets go look around inside *runs inside*

Lyra: its not stupid *ran after him*

Ash: yup, so lets split up... theres gotta be something or pokemon worth  ....*crack* huh? *looks down*
