The venue of the wedding was a pristine beach, where the golden sands stretched endlessly, kissed by the gentle waves of the ocean. As the sun began its descent, the sky was painted in hues of orange, pink, and lavender, casting a warm, ethereal glow across the entire scene.
The beach was beautifully decorated, with delicate fairy lights strung between tall palm trees, their gentle twinkle adding a magical touch to the evening.
All the guests had arrived, their excited chatter mingling with the sound of the ocean. Jungkook stood at the altar with Hoseok, his eyes constantly flickering towards the path where Taehyung would soon appear. His heart pounded with anticipation, and he felt a sense of nervous excitement. Jimin had called a moment ago, assuring that he and Taehyung would arrive in two minutes.
Jungkook shifted his weight, adjusting the cuffs of his suit, trying to calm his nerves. The waiting felt like an eternity. Hoseok noticed Jungkook's jittery state and smirked.
"Hyung, you've gone to the toilet at least 4 times in the past hour," Hoseok teased. "What's going on? Are you having second thoughts about the wedding?"
Jungkook chuckled nervously, shaking his head. "No, no second thoughts. I'm just... really nervous." It is true that he has been going to the toilet continuously.
Hoseok laughed, clapping Jungkook on the back. "Nervous? Hyung, you look like you're about to take a final exam without studying! It's just a wedding. What's the worst that could happen?"
Jungkook shot him a look. "Easy for you to say. Wait until it's your turn to get married. Then you'll know exactly how I feel."
Hoseok grinned. "Touché. But seriously, try to relax. Taehyung's going to walk down that aisle, and everything will be perfect."
Meanwhile, in the car, Taehyung was fidgeting endlessly. He knows Jungkook loves him. He knows the step he’s about to take is right. Yet he can't seem to calm the jitters in his stomach. He kept checking his reflection in the rearview mirror, adjusting his dress, and fretting over his appearance.
"Jimin, are you sure I look okay?" Taehyung asked for what felt like the hundredth time. "Is my makeup fine? Does my hair look alright?"
Jimin sighed, exasperated but amused. "Tae, you look perfect. Your makeup is flawless, your hair is impeccable, and your dress is on point. You look like a dream."
Taehyung bit his lip, still unconvinced. "But what if Jungkook doesn't think so? What if—"
Jimin cut him off with a laugh. "Trust me, the moment Jungkook sees you, he's going to lose his mind. He won't be able to take his eyes off you."
He continued, "Now, take a deep breath and try to calm down. Everything is going to be just fine."
Taehyung took a deep breath, trying to steady his nerves. "You're right, Jiminie. I'm just... really nervous."
