Taehyung and Jungkook stood side by side in the dimly lit basement parking lot, the faint hum of fluorescent lights buzzing above them.Jungkook couldn’t help but smirk as he noticed Taehyung gawking at the row of sleek, seven gleaming cars in front of them. The awe in Taehyung’s eyes was almost too much for Jungkook to handle. He cleared his throat dramatically, his smirk widening into a full-blown grin. “Angel,” he said, his voice dripping with playful arrogance, “did you forget that you’re married to the youngest and richest CEO in South Korea?” His tone was cocky, full of that effortless confidence that made Taehyung’s heart skip a beat.
Taehyung snapped out of his trance, blinking up at Jungkook with a slightly dazed look. A blush crept up his cheeks as he realized how mesmerized he must have looked. “I guess it just slipped my mind,” he replied, trying to sound casual, but the grin that spread across his face betrayed his excitement.
Jungkook chuckled, clearly enjoying the effect his words had on Taehyung. He gestured grandly toward the line of cars. “Pick one,” he said, as if offering Taehyung a selection of candy instead of some of the most expensive vehicles in the world.
Taehyung’s eyes practically sparkled as he looked back at the cars, his excitement barely contained. Taehyung’s eyes widened in awe, taking in the sight of the most luxurious cars in the world assembled together. He almost couldn’t believe it. His gaze trailed from the polished black Bugatti to the fiery red Ferrari and then to the Harley Davidson parked at the very end. His excitement bubbled over as he turned to Jungkook, his eyes sparkling. “Can I touch them?” he asked, almost in a whisper, as if afraid the cars would disappear if he spoke too loudly.
Then, his gaze landed on the Harley Davidson at the end, and he glanced back at Jungkook with an eyebrow raised. “And you ride a motorbike too? What are you? James bond”
Jungkook grinned, leaning against one of the cars with a cocky tilt of his head. “Impressed?”
Taehyung rolled his eyes, though he couldn’t hide the grin tugging at his lips. “Don’t get too full of yourself, Mr. CEO.”
Jungkook’s grin only grew wider. “Too late,” he said, his voice full of teasing pride.
With that, Taehyung didn’t waste a second. He practically skipped from car to car, his hands hovering just above the surfaces as if afraid he might leave fingerprints on the pristine paint. He let out little gasps and exclamations of admiration as he inspected each vehicle, his excitement growing with every step. When he reached the motorbike, he crouched down to get a closer look, his breath catching as he traced the contours of the sleek Harley. His fingers brushed the smooth metal, pausing when he noticed something engraved near the handlebars. He leaned in closer, a small gasp escaping his lips as he read the letters JK etched elegantly into the chrome. The initials stood out against the shiny surface, a personal touch that made the bike even more impressive.
Taehyung's heart skipped a beat as he glanced up at Jungkook, a mixture of admiration and curiosity in his eyes. "You really put your mark on it, huh?" he teased, though the awe in his voice was unmistakable.
Jungkook’s smirk grew, a playful glint flickering in his eyes as he leaned casually against one of the cars. “What can I say? I like making sure everyone knows what’s mine.”
Taehyung rolled his eyes with a fond smile, but before he could respond, Jungkook tilted his head slightly, his gaze locking onto Taehyung’s with a mischievous spark. “I was actually thinking of putting my mark on something else,” he said, his voice dropping to a soft, teasing whisper. “Or rather… someone.”
Taehyung’s cheeks turned pink, fully understanding what Jungkook meant. He quickly looked away, trying to hide his flustered expression. "Oh, shut up, Kookie," he muttered, swatting at him lightly. "Let me focus on picking the car, will you?"
