Anyways I have this 30 day poem prompt challenge I wanna try (just for fun) and for day 1 i decided on the word prompt 'mirror' bc y not

Mirror
I look at the girl standing in front of me
And I take in her every detail
I tell her she's ugly
Her short hair is too dry
Her brown eyes are too plain
And her face is dotted with acne
I tell her she's too fat
That she needs to stop eating
That she needs to work out
And she needs to look like other girls
I watch her begin to cry
The tears flowing like rivers
Cascading down her face
She looks even worse when she cries
I whisper the words I know will shatter her heart
You're ugly
You're fat
You're not enough
Then I stop myself
Blink the tears back
And turn away from the mirror
