Tired, I stared into my coffee cup. I had spent half the night awake, racking my brains over the current circumstances in my life. Maria knew that I rarely ate breakfast, but the coffee was already waiting for me in large quantities.

"Do you need anything else, Mr. Prince? I'm about to go into town to do some shopping," Maria inquired.

I raised my head, taking a moment for her words to sink in. "Mrs. Tsukino will be arriving today and staying for a few days. So you would have to cook for an extra person, I hope that won't cause you any inconvenience."

"Oh, no, I'll be happy to do that," she replied cheerfully.

I could see a slight smile on her face before she turned around and left. Why did everyone seem so happy that Usagi had come here? After all, it was only for her safety.
My cell phone was lying on the table next to me and suddenly started to ring. It was Usagi.

"Are you already on the plane?" I asked directly, without beating around the bush.

"No. What are you doing? We've already talked about it. Work is work and private is private. Why should I suddenly come to the Philippines now?" she grumbled.

"I don't have time for endless discussions. Just pack your things. Massaru is already waiting outside your apartment and the jet is ready. See you later." Annoyed, I hung up, as I didn't feel like discussing anything further. Even if she was annoyed, I knew she would come.
Less than an hour later, I received confirmation from Massaru.

> Mrs. T. is on the jet.<

I waited at the airport for her to arrive. When she got off the jet, all the tension suddenly seemed to fall away from me. I ignored the angry look she flashed at me. All that mattered now was that she had arrived here unharmed.

"Usagi, how nice that you were able to make it," I said and blew her a kiss on the cheek.

"Diamond, as if I had much of a choice when my boss sent me on a business trip," she growled indignantly.

I couldn't help but grin. "Be glad it was the Philippines. It would be much colder in Canada or Greenland." After all, we had beautiful properties there too. I picked up her suitcase and made my way to the car.

Usagi suddenly stopped abruptly and crossed her arms in front of her chest. "What are you doing, Diamond?"

I flung the suitcase onto the back seat of the convertible and opened the passenger door for her. "Get in the car. I'll explain everything to you once we get there." I knew this wasn't a conversation for the public as I could already feel our unique tension building once again.

"No. Before I even set foot in this car, I want to know exactly what's going on!" she shouted defiantly. I turned around and stood right in front of her.
"Get in the car, now," I murmured in a tone that brooked no argument. If she refused, I would carry her into the car without further ado. The many passers-by at the airport had already cast suspicious glances at us. She finally gave in and moved towards the car.
I got behind the wheel and as we drove, I noticed that Usagi was still looking at me from the side in amazement. Her tension was palpable. Once we were on the country road, I put my hand on her thigh to reassure her.

"Relax, Usagi," I said calmly.

"I will as soon as you've explained what's going on here," she went on, still annoyed. I couldn't help but roll my eyes slightly. This promised to be an interesting discussion.

"Haruka is out of town for a few days, Sapphire is still missing, and since I have appointments here that I can't reschedule, it's safest for you to stay close to me," I explained the situation to her as succinctly as possible.
