The seriousness of the situation

Kunzite was still in the conference room when I returned to the villa. His expression revealed that he was deep in thought, and it was obvious that something was wrong. I gave him a waiting look. "Kaori is really mad. She just realized I'm not in Hong Kong anymore," he grumbled.

I couldn't help but smirk a little. "You didn't tell her you were leaving the country, did you?"

"No, it had to be quick, and she was off shopping somewhere again."

"Oh man. I wouldn't want to be in your shoes."

I sat down on a chair and closed my eyes for a moment, trying to process everything. "Have you found out anything yet?" I asked, refocusing on the actual problem.

"I sent out a mass email to everyone I could think of. I called Brazil, and your father is also on his way here," Kunzite replied.

I paused. "My father! Why is that?"

"He was contacted about the mass email and immediately hopped on the jet. He'll be here in an hour."

So now the head of the family was getting personally involved. Well, maybe he could make a bigger impact. One thing was certain: we were now responsible for Usagi's safety. Nothing could happen to her. I gritted my teeth. We would wait and keep trying to locate Sapphire from here. He couldn't just vanish; eventually, he would make a mistake that would give him away.

Shortly after, my father burst through the door. "What's going on here?" he thundered as soon as he entered the room.

I immediately stood up to give him a situation report. "Hello, Father, it's about Sapphire. He's threatening a woman I've been seeing for some time."

His expression was serious; he knew exactly what Sapphire was capable of. "How serious is it?" he asked tersely.

I pointed to the note with Sapphire's message that still lay on the table. Father glanced at it, and I could see a tension in him as well.

"Still about that girl from back then? I thought that was an accident."

"It was. Can you find out where he is? I'll try to talk to him."

Father ran a hand through his hair in frustration. It was clear he was not pleased to be drawn into this matter, but I knew he also had a strong sense of responsibility. He wouldn't allow an innocent person to come to harm. "I'll handle it before I fly back. Can you two take care of this problem?" he asked irritably. Kunzite and I exchanged a brief look and nodded resolutely.

The next morning, I decided I had to talk to Usagi at least briefly. I needed to warn her. "Yes?" she answered.

"Usagi, we need to meet. A driver will pick you up after work." I didn't want to discuss this over the phone.

"I'm already busy. Today will be difficult."

"Then cancel it. It's important," I urged impatiently.

"No, only if you tell me what's going on. Ever since your brother was here, you've been acting really weird..." I didn't need to hear more. I hung up. If she didn't want to come voluntarily, I'd have to resort to other measures.

Call Sato.

"Mr. Sato, this is Diamond Prince. My father asked me to contact you. We are looking to part with some properties, and they need to be taken care of promptly. Could you handle that today?"

"Oh, that's quite short notice. If it's alright with you, I could have Ms. Tsukino list the properties. Is your father at home? I need to discuss something with him." Sato seemed in a good mood. I just needed to inform Father that he would be leaving later than planned.
