Her Friends

When we finally returned to the apartment, I couldn't hold back any longer. I wanted to pick up where we had left off, to turn off my mind and feel her body. I grabbed her and pressed her gently against the wall, kissing her neck and moving downward. A soft giggle escaped her throat.

"I thought you were in pain when you moved your arm," she teased as her hands began unbuttoning my shirt.

"Maybe I like it," I murmured back, and soon, I had freed her from her blouse. My lips met hers, and my hands firmly cupped her full breasts. Usagi drew in a sharp breath as my hand slid down her body, pulling off her pants.

I wanted her more than anything else, and she was already so wet that my finger slipped inside her effortlessly, eliciting a soft moan from her.

"Come on, come for me," I whispered in her ear, increasing the pressure on her clit. Usagi tried to concentrate, still struggling with the button of my pants, but her control was slipping. Two fingers moved skillfully inside her, my thumb circling her clit. She could barely stand as the orgasm took hold, her body shuddering uncontrollably. In seconds, I had shed my pants and pressed her against the wall. She was still catching her breath, her body still trembling with arousal when I entered her from behind, thrusting deep. I didn't give her time to adjust, thrusting again and again. My hand returned to her clit, adding to the stimulation. This time, she couldn't hold back, moaning loudly as her muscles tightened around me, coming a second time. I was about to increase the pace when she stopped me.

She led me to the bedroom, giving me a gentle push that made me fall onto the bed. "Now it's your turn to relax," she whispered as she slowly impaled herself on my cock, setting the rhythm. Her full breasts bounced in time, and my hands gripped her round ass as I watched her ride herself to another climax. I couldn't hold back any longer, wrapping my arms around her as I came.

It was 5 AM, and I couldn't sleep. Damn it. I stroked Usagi's back a few more times before deciding to retreat to the office. I didn't want to wake the sleeping beauty beside me. Besides, I knew a storm was brewing, and since Father had deftly removed himself from the situation by going to Mother, I was left to clean up the mess. Great. Like I had nothing else to do.

I had barely turned on the laptop when I saw my exploding inbox and began to get an overview. Most were, as I suspected, press inquiries and drafts about yesterday's events. I couldn't deal with that now. One was from the funeral director Father had hired, also for later. Perfect, now I had something to distract me. Boring numbers and calculations for the next half-year. I didn't know how long I'd been sitting there, but the numbers had long been calculated, I'd replied to the funeral director, and had even handled part of the press inquiries, when the office door slowly opened.

Usagi looked over at me, worried. "Have you slept at all?" she asked softly, coming closer to me.

I looked up at her, tired. "Two or three hours. But I have to go through the first press releases to prevent the worst," I mumbled, attempting to read the same cursed sentence for the third time. My concentration was shot, and Usagi seemed to notice. With ease, she pushed my chair back a bit, sat on my lap, and wrapped her arms around my neck. I knew exactly what she was planning, but if I gave in now, we'd be busy in the bedroom, or in various corners of the apartment, until tonight.

"Usagi, I don't have time for this now. This needs to be done. And then I have several outside appointments," I tried to explain to her.

Her head sank to my shoulder, and she stayed like that for a moment before giving me a gentle kiss on the cheek. "Take it easy. You look terrible. I'll meet Minako later and stop by Motoki's, but if you need anything, call me."

"Usagi, I..." I began, but she placed her finger on my lips. "No. You told me yesterday to learn about the world of perfection, but you also need to learn to deal with emotions and open up. If you need anything, call me," she insisted.

I nodded and turned my attention to that same cursed sentence for the fourth time. She stroked my hair one more time and left me alone again.

As soon as the door clicked shut behind her, I pulled out my phone. "Still got your arm?" Kunzite joked on the other end. "Yeah, just about. The reason I'm calling is that I need your help. You need to go to Tanaka for me." "Kaori's goldsmith?" he asked, skeptically. "Yes, exactly. There are two packages to pick up. I can't make it on time; Tanaka is only in town until noon, and I have a meeting with the funeral director first, then another appointment at the publishing house." "We can manage that. Kaori wanted to invite you two for dinner anyway." "Good, then see you later. We'll come as soon as I've sorted everything out."

I endured the appointments on my list and even squeezed in an extra one. But I knew I needed a break now. "Masaru, can you find out where Usagi is right now?" I asked up front. "Of course, Boss. She's at the café owned by her friend. Haruka dropped her off half an hour ago. Should we head there?" "Yes, we'll pick her up and then go to my cousin's," I informed him, and he nodded.

The café was fairly small, and I spotted her as soon as I walked through the door. She was perched on a barstool, talking to the man behind the counter. I hung back and watched.

"Usa, I didn't mean it badly. We're just worried about you... You've been through so much lately, we don't want you making rash decisions you'll regret. I mean, how long have you known him?" he said. Her blonde friend, Minako, sat next to her, sipping on a milkshake and nearly choking on it.

"Well, actually more than a year," Usagi mumbled. Now it was clear they were talking about me, and I couldn't help but smile.

"I mean not professionally, but personally. That's always different," the barista asked more intensely.

"A little over a year," she repeated.

The man pondered intensely.

"Stop calculating. Yes, they all overlapped, and Usa knows it was a damn stupid idea," her friend interjected. Interesting, so she was cleaning up her social circle. I didn't really want to interrupt.

"So, I think you deserve some happiness after all the drama of the past few months. I just really hope he means it seriously," her friend continued, and I decided this was my cue. Usagi still hadn't realized I was standing right behind her.

"Yes. I do," I said, and Usagi spun around on her stool. I wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her forehead. "What are you doing here?" she asked, surprised. "I came to pick you up. Kaori has invited us for dinner," I said calmly, not releasing my embrace. Everyone should see that this woman was mine.

"That's nice. But I'd like to introduce you to Minako and Motoki first. These are my two best friends. Toki, Mina, this is Diamond," she chirped, introducing me to them. The blonde girl was just as lively as she was and suddenly hugged me. That was unexpected.

"If you make her unhappy, you'll regret it," she hissed quietly in my ear before returning to her seat.

The barista looked me up and down, skeptical. Then he glanced at Usagi and extended his hand to me. "Take good care of her," he growled over the counter. "Don't worry. I will," I replied. "Shall we go?" I asked Usagi.

She hopped off her stool, said goodbye to her friends, and then I firmly took her hand, leading her outside.

"Wait a moment. I need to let Haruka know; she was going to wait for me," she said. "I've already taken care of it. She has the rest of the day off. Relax," I reassured her, leading her to my car.

"That's rich coming from you. Have you seen yourself? You should be sleeping, not driving around," she retorted, and once again, I saw the worry in her face. She was genuinely concerned about me. But I had to get to Kunzite's; I needed the package. A grin spread across my lips as I opened the car door for her. If only she knew.
