' ~ + Insane + ~ '
I slowly landed and sighed as I did so. I suddenly felt so tired-... I didn’t even know where I was…. I looked around and saw I was in some sort of plains biome. I continued to look around but I didn’t see any indication that the Palace was nearby. I sighed again.
{Great… 'Maybe try asking around?' There's no one here-... Don’t you know where we are-? 'Nope.' …}
I walked around but it got me nowhere…
“There's nothing here-.... I don’t even see a tree- anywhere- or Water-”
'Well, It won’t kill you to fly around and look for it.'
*Sigh* “Ok…”
I flew into the air and started looking around for the palace, or any place near it.
Clovers POV:
I woke up and after getting dressed I instantly checked Lyra’s room, but she wasn’t there… I ran out to the training fields and again, Not there... I kept running around to any place she could possibly be- but-... she’s still gone... I walked back to the training fields and sat down on the grass. After a few minutes, I saw River walking towards me.
River: “No luck?...”
“N-no-... I- I can’t find her anywhere-... It’s- It’s like she just vanished..”
River hummed and turned.
River: “Alright… I’ll send a patrol out to go find her.”
I simply nodded and watched as she left.
Rivers POV:
I sighed and walked away from Clover to gather a patrol to look for Lyra. I walked to my room and wrote a few letters then sealed them with wax and gave them to Ory, My snowy Owl. I pet her gently then sent her on her way and went back to the training fields. After a few minutes, some guards showed up. They all lined up from left to right when they saw me. I walked towards them and breathed in deeply before speaking.
“Lyra has unfortunately gone missing. That’s why I’m sending this patrol to go look for her. If she’s not anywhere inside the walls. Send 2 patrols to search outside the gates. Skyre, Blaise, you both will be leading this patrol.”
They all nodded in understanding.
“Dismissed.”
They bowed slightly then left.
{Honestly.. How many times do I have to tell them they don’t need to do that-... Oh well-}
I walked back over to where Clover was.
“I sent the patrol to go look for her. We’ll find her, I promise.”
Clover: “I know-.. I’m just worried…”
“So am I. But we can’t assume the worst. She’s a strong girl, She can handle herself. For now, get some rest. It’s still pretty early.”
She nodded and headed back to the sleeping house while I turned and walked off to start doing my border patrol.
Lyra’s POV:
I continued to fly around aimlessly, flying in every direction, trying to find- something- anything- or anyone- but there was nothing… not a single person or living thing-... it was just endless acres of grass… I sighed and continued flying around.
Emerald’s POV:
I don’t remember much, everything was quiet for a while…. Then- I slowly woke up. When I opened my eyes I immediately knew I was in a hospital wing. The north one to be exact. I looked around and one of the nurses noticed me. She gave me a moonflower and then let me leave since I was apparently fine now.
{Why was I in the Hospital wing??}
I thought back to the last thing I could remember.
{Riiight…. Candi and…. Whoever the other wolf was.}
I thought for a minute then realized Ita wasn’t there. I turned and ran towards the training fields where I saw Clover sitting in a low tree branch. I walked over to her and she noticed me.
Clover: “Emerald!-.. Lyra isn’t here-...”
I tilted my head.
Clover: “....She left yesterday and hasn’t come back-...”
I glared at her.
Clover: “River sent a patrol to look for her-”
Before she could say anything else, I turned and ran towards the gates.
Clover: “NO- EMERALD WAIT-..*Sigh* 7 moons… that wolf never listens…”
Clovers POV:
Kendi: “She really doesn’t, does she?”
I jumped and looked at Kendi
“How long were you-”
Kendi: “The past 15 minutes. Lyra’s missing and you didn’t tell me?”
“You were sleeping!”
Kendi: -_-
Kendi: “Anyways- has the patrol found any sign of her?”
“Not yet…”
Kendi: “I’ll check outside the gates…”
“Alright-.. Be careful..”
Kendi nodded then turned into her cat form and headed towards the gates.
